Treat Vs. Pretty Maids - Breathless

I think it's time for a question about two great albums at the moment. Pretty Maids and Treat have two great albums out at the moment. Both albums has a closing track called Breathless (except any bonus tracks). Who does the best Breathless track?

 

For me it's Treat but the PM song is also very good.

I don't own either cd yet but I checked each song out on Youtube.

 

Tough call here for me. I had to go back a few times to each to listen a few times.

 

I like the pre-chorus and chorus a bit better for Treat.

I like everything else a bit better for Pretty Maids.

 

I went with Pretty Maids because my initial gut reaction was to pick that one. After a few listens to each they are both very good songs and could have went either way.

Im not going to vote because I literally cannot decide between them.

 

For me the 2 songs are totally different styles and I love varying things about each.

 

2 great ends to 2 great albums.

Ok, I much more prefer Pretty Maids music over Treat music. BUT...listening to both songs on You Tube just now I really have to say the Treat one does rock harder. BUT..I voted for Pretty maids only becuase I like them more. Confused? Who Me? LOL

I like the Pretty Maids disc better but I actually prefer the Treat "Breathless" more.

Wowser. I love both discs (the Treat one just a little more), love both bands (Treat just a little more) but there's no competition here, imo. The Treat song is one of the weakest on the CD, whereas the Pretty Maids track is one of the strongest on the CD. Pretty Maids for me, no contest.

I feel the opposite as I think the Treat song is one of my favs and the Pretty Maids song is one of my least favs so far.

I went with Treat's version. I think it's a great track that better captures the sensation of being out of your mind for someone else. It's also a great way to close the album, unless you have the Japanese pressing with the bonus track.

 

Also, we shouldn't forget Michael Bormann's version. Another great track.
