Yarrrrrggghhh Mateys!

Gonna be starting to build the extension to the good ship Clarkson soon, and I'll be getting my own quarters for storing myself in - along with my CD's, LP's and PC and guitars and stuff!

But my salty sea dogs .. what does any good pirate need to store his secret gear in (cables, cameras 'n' shit) but a proper pirates chest ???? So today I bought one....check it out...it's not it's final resting place as that'll be in my cabin but she's a beauty...thar she blows!

Looks like someone forgot to put away the Hot Wheels after playing with them. I trust the G.I. Joe with the Kung Fu grip is somewhere just out of frame?

I had a shitload of the original Hot Wheels when they first came out around 1967. Those originals, in unopened packages, would be worth a bloody fortune now. Unfortunately, I was only interested in pissing around with them on the hardwood floors, grinding pressure downward so it sounded like the tires were squawking when you put them in motion. I wasn't above the odd smash-up derby contest with them either. I was a toy-abuser, and I admit that freely. I also had about 6 or 7 Wayne Gretzky rookie cards way back in 1980, stored in a bag in the crawlspace of a home of lunatics I boarded with. Unfortunately, when I moved out of there, I forgot they were there and left them behind. Their value now? Somewhere in double-digit thousands of dollars. Oh, well - I never said I was an astute businessman.
