But I'll say that this is a Odd Tour combo...a Good One, just a bit different..

The only thing both bands really have in common is that they're both fronted by fifty-something British guys.

By the way, supposedly Priest will be playing the BRITISH STEEL album in its entirety on this tour, to celebrate the 30th anniversary of that album! :guitar:

Firstly I want to say that I have allways loved Priest both live and on vinyl/cd.

I've seen Priest many times since 86 and the Metal God ain't the god he used to be. His voice is fairly rubbish these days and he hardly moves around the seen anymore. He definitally can't the highest notes anymore.

I actually thinks it's quite sad to see him on stage these days. :(

Wow! Glad I got the chance to see this. (Courtesy of the great SHK, not that I didn't almost fuck that up too.)

Anyway, Whitesnake was awesome as always, and I was pretty impressed by the sheer brutality of Priest. Halford didn't sound great, but not that bad either. (That said, I never saw them back in the day to have a comparison.) But I'm glad I saw the show before WS had to withdraw. A lucky break, I guess.
