ok, back in the day I really liked these. seen them mabye twice but always remembered them.

MegaForce - what more could a kid want, motorcycles with machine guns and rocket launchers

the Last Chase - after cars are outlawed, a former race car driver (who hid his race car under his garage) that has had a hard time adjusting to a new world hears a broadcast from a now free California. digs up his car and races his way across the country to freedom, finding gas wherever he can.

You can actually watch the Last Chase on YouTube. it is in 9 minute segments.

I know both of these are really BAD movies and If I saw them now I'd give them about a 2 out of 10 but what the heck, since we just made Geoff wonder about us why not add even more.

MEGAFORCE = :rofl2:

That movie was so cheesey, an army of rats couldn't help it!!!

707 on the soundtrack was the only thing that made me want to turn the sound up!!!

THE LAST CHASE.....HMMM!

Sounds like that movie I saw once that included the wonderful thesbians LEE MAJORS :rofl2: and former childhood actor CHRIS MAKEPIECE (MY BODYGUARD, MEATBALLS).

This fuckin' kid says the same line, he says in every movie "YOU LIKE HER DON'T YOU?"

Admitting to have witnessed such abominations, I should have my eyes, ears, and brain removed!!!

If you still need to watch either of the above, go to a thrift store. I'm sure they will pop up on VHS.

Geezus, it's been so long since I've seen either one of these that I honestly can't vote. I vaguely remember "Last Chase" because of Burgess Meredith (!!) as the elderly fighter pilot who chases Lee Majors around in an antiquated plane... but that's about all...

How 'bout "Time Rider" vs. "Treasure of the Four Crowns In 3-D?"

...believe it or not, it looks like someone has actually bothered to divide each of these movies up into 10-minute segments and posted them both on YouTube in their entireties!!

Is TIME RIDER the one with FRED WARD (ESCAPE FROM ALCATRAZ & REMO WILLIAMS)?

Yep, that be the one. The guy rides a dirt bike through a time warp in the desert and winds up in the old West.

And of course, the trailer for it is on YouTube... because EVERYTHING is on YouTube!!

I have vague memories of seeing ex-Monkee Michael Nesmith being interviewed on MTV when this movie came out... apparently he was one of the producers of the film.

Hahaha, I know! I bet that Barry Bostwick would rather be remembered as "A**hole" from "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" than as Captain Ace whatever-his-name-was from "MegaForce"

EDIT: as this poster shows, the character's name was "Ace Hunter"

I also think, Michael Beck should have shot his own agent. "I did THE WARRIORS, Then I made the mistake and did XANADU. I really fucked up doing this crap!!!" :rofl2:

One more career down the toilet!!!

    • These guys are one of those mystery bands to me. I think they're fine, just can't figure out why people fall over themselves for them as I think they're average to below average in the overall scheme of things. BUT, that is why I am a strong advocate for to eaching their owning. I'm glad people dig, I just don't really understand why. Anyway, new album is basically what these guys do. Solid, eclectic and half decent... but not great. I did think 'Beat of Your Heart' was a nice ballad. Drum sound interesting too. Took me genuinely 6-7 songs to figure out what I thought of it - if I liked it or not. I think I settled on the fact it's cool. I think. Anyway, I assume fans will adore this for whatever reasons they loved the other ones. Me, I think it's adequate, again.
    • I'm not in the camp enough to say this is utter shit because honestly, it's not. It is capable melodic hard rock and if I put myself in the honest box, if nothing else was considered and this came along in a year like 1996 or something, it'd be a well appreciated album. BUT, all things considered, I agree that it's a pass. It's all capable, but it's very bland and it's just impossible to listen to this project without wondering why it's still called Sunstorm without JLT. It doesn't make sense.  Anyway, I thought 'Hold The Night' was a passable keeper but the rest is predictable, uninspired and bored.
    • lol, I wonder who he thinks that is going to appeal to?
    • I'd be amazed if there's any Tesla fans anywhere that don't like 'Bust a nut.' Is this really considered one of their weaker albums?
    • Ok. I can understand your thinking regarding one`s favorite bands. In my case it was  Bon Jovi. First album I ever bought was Slippery, liked NEw Jersey even better. Saw them live few times, but after 1995 only some good songs on each album but still bought albums,  since Richie left I cant stand their latest albums or even live. So from that scenario I see that I am not just following my favorite bands regardles what they put out.     But in Tesla case I do stlll enjoy their releases, even those post 2010. A admit that Shock had some filler but also some of their best songs post 2000 like The Mission.   I do miss the heavier  element that Tommy brought. songs like  Dont de-rock me, Action talks.
