Is that the same Strikeforce as the one from St. Louis/Illinois?

I remember they had a few self released discs in the mid 90's but I can't remember if that one was one of them or if that's a different band.

Hm I think it's the same band. Metal archives says that they were from Cincinnati, Ohio (formed in 1981!) & they 've relocated to Illinois). They used to play in several places in Illinois (according to the booklet) so I guess it's the same band. I don't know for those few releases you said cause the discography there is :

Strike Force EP, 1989

Questions Full-length, 1996

Reign of Fire Full-length, 2006

& their last label is/was Retrospect Records. Have they signed for a new album or a reissue of the older stuff??? I have no idea...

It really is excellent, really, really good! How's Shine On, I've never heard that one.

Just as good, right up there at the top of the list.

Yeah same band and the singer(at least later on) Travis Wyant was from Benton, Illinois, where I just moved from. I saw them open for Dokken back in 98' and they were good. There was a local bar that used to have some of their cds in the jukebox and I wish I would of bought some of those. I do a have a 2 song ep from 1998 called "Into the Sun" that has the tunes "Into the Sun" and "Borrowed Time" and was released on their own Stoneface Records and was produced by former Uriah Heep keyboardist Ken Hensley at St. Louis Music.

I also have that cd that was put out of Retrospect but don't have those other two you have. I did see one I didn't have a couple of years ago but passed on it thinking it would be there next time but it wasn't, but I can't remember the name of it. It could of been "Questions" but I can't remember for sure.

Thanks for the info. Travis sung on Questions as I can see. There are a few more past members on that album so I'll fix it later on M-A. With the "2 Song e.p" do you mean a cd-single? I have no idea about that. I just checked M-A because the site has annoying crushes all day & I saw that "Reign of Fire" released by Retrospect in 2006 but the material was from 1990. That's the connection with Retrospect. I'm sure you will find "questions" easily in the States.

Thanks!

(I'm in the process of collecting all the 70s and 80s NWOBHM, Hard Rock, and local Cleveland bands I grew up with, most of which I only have on (dashboard-melted) cassettes. So if anyone out there would like to help a brother out...:P )
