Good year for football as everyone will play through the final week to jockey for home field and even the wild card slots. Pitt will have to play Ben and the starters for the first half at least depending on which way the game goes as the win for them will lock in a first round bye. Fingers crossed the Jets can hand the Cheatriots a well deserved loss. And the Hawks will need a win and a Falcon loss to sneak into a wildcard. And Russ looks like the Ravonettes get a run this year. Looks like a Rams Steeler super bowl this year...

As mentioned we binged on some X-mas themed films: Elf and Nat Lamp's Xmas Vacation. Also as requested watched a good number of movies while digesting holiday cheer: Love Guru- if you haven't seen it do so if you like Austin Powers films. Dukes of Hazard- Reboot. Fun, harmless (except for Jessica Simpson, hubba hubba) fluff. 50 First Dates- Adam Sandlers version of Groundhogs Day but with brain trauma. Valerian- A second run through as this was a present. Still good imho. Despicable Me 3- Super funny as usual. Worth a watch or two. Binge watched Billions season 1.

I can accept a loss if it truly a loss of a better team beating the other. Take that Seahawks, no denying the Rams won. But when it boils down to a bad call or many it makes it much harder to swallow. Love or hate losing because of officiating should be !

What no love for THE Randy with his illustrious lineage as the voice of Odin and for wearing pants with no butt in them so he can quote "ventilate his scrotum"? That said this record is quite flat and obviously Odin and this solo effort went over like a fart in church hence the obscurity.

Until Brady and Bellacheat retire the Patriots will always beat the Steelers. Or maybe in 2024 when that chump Goodell is sacked. Whichever comes first. I will say it again on repeat for eternity the NFL officiating sucks harder than any vacuum, vortex or porn princess. There is no consistency and the fact that no one can challenge or change anything is disgusting. The players have no rights, privileges or even health care insurance and are fined and penalized at the whim and will of the officials and the league. Yet Goodell signs a whopping $50 million dollar contract, exclusive use of the NFL private jet and health care for his ENTIRE family for LIFE! And the officials get to make horrific life altering/game changing calls or lack there of every single week without recourse. Simply stunning and so very stupid. And now the Antonio Brown is out for maybe the season and could miss his chance at MVP, the first ever for a wide receiver... Sigh.

OMFG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! UNFUCKING BELIEVABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If someone doesn't start fining and firing these officials I am going to snap! Take a field called touchdown AWAY even though the hand is PAINFULLY OBVIOUSLY under the ball moving or not! This was is a really solid band and I have enjoyed their releases. I have an earlier (1992) indie CD called Make Believe which was the precursor to TMAKB and had some rougher mixes of tunes that got cleaned up for the major label/soul crushing release.

Monster game in about an hour for the AFC home field and all the bragging rights. The Pat's are 4 and 0 when dancing with Pitt so an upset is inevitable? Needless to say I will be watching. Glad Miami gave them a loss last week. Seattle hosts the Rams to keep there playoff hopes alive and clinch their division. I'm sure we all have seen the game altering NON call in Jacksonville last week that gave those convicts the win. Can't be stressed enough that it is hard enough to beat the opposing team let alone the officials. They should get fined for non calls and the booth should drop a sky flag to make the right call (s). Will Phillies reign end now that Carson is out for the year? Some good stuff coming over the next few weeks as there are many teams "in the hunt".

Well let's see been seeing a bit lately and haven't posted in a bit. Binge watched Stranger Things Season 1. Nice little X-Files meets Eerie Indiana show. The throwback to the glorious 80's was a nice touch and for those who haven't seen it I won't spoil anything and will say its worth a watch. I need to do a little research but in various scenes of kids bedrooms there are some very excellent movie posters (Evil Dead, The Thing, Jaws) so it makes me wonder what the inside poop is on that. Again worthy of your time. Leap, The Nut Job 2, Cars 3 all fine and well family fodder with the nod to Cars and the inclusion of Paul Newman. Leap was actually a surprise sleeper with the ballet fueled orphan uplifter and the NJ2 with the nut jokes abound... Life. Complete Alien rip but put together fine. No spoils here but the ending was a very nice, albeit, obvious touch. Texas Chainsaw reboot from 2013. Zero point other than to showcase that Percy Jackson, Baywatch light eyed gals midriff for an hour and a half. We've discussed her before and she is certainly worthy of a leer or 20.

And Jay has been resurrected as well!

Kory fanboy here! Sounds fine by me. True Kory's voice is not as strong as it was and these tracks even though pleasant are missing the oomph provided by the original band this is certainly moving in the right direction to at least regain some of the old vibe, maybe Space Age Playboys...
