  7. I know I am coming late to the party on this cd, but I can't and won't race right out and drop the $15-$20 on a new release, sorry, second hand for me all the way. I like to call it "buying green". Gotto save the enviro and all that... Anywho, finally found/got that Chinese Democracy disc from Guns N' Roses and with all the hooplah, pre-releases, demo's delay's, etc, etc, etc... The album kicks ass!!! I know from numerous reveiws that a good number of the hard rock community hated this disc, but to me it is quite fantastic. Great production, musicianship and the song writing is very good. Tracks flow well, some rockers, some ballads, a little new sounding at times, but without losing the 80's hard rock feel. I think that if many set the hype surrounding this disc aside and just appreciated the music this one would rank high on many play lists.
  8. Men Of Steel by Karl Kock III Interesting historical read about the steel building family and the projects they built, including the World Trade Center.
  9. Awww it is always nice to be thought of Dave, especially when hot chicks are involved... Still amazing how attractive gals seem to think they aren't. Btw: Very much "right up my alley" (more pic's, phone numbers and such would be most excellent) and aren't they all (rfpita?). Oh, dude, she's a trainwreck and a half! I've known some people with low self esteem but this chick takes the cake LOL :) Oh how I do enjoy "pumping" up a girls "self esteem"...

  14. Speaking of long forgotten soda's, I wish the Coke A Cola company would bring back OK Cola, I loved that stuff... reminded me of when I was a kid and we would mix all the soda pop's together and call it a "graveyard".

  16. I like the Dangerous Attraqction cd more myself, Powerlove is a killer tune and the original version is also very cool! If you want ot unload the disc let me knowand I will take it off your hands.
  17. That Soren disc is a good one and agree, it is a rare one, but probably wouldn't fetch the Friction kind of $$$, for what reason I don't know. As James mentioned I have that Innerfear disc and with only 250 pressed I would say it is pretty elusive. And as Steve mentioned, I have some of the staple rarities: Concrete Jungle, Emergency, Villan, but would say discs like Storm Within, Dead Serious, Hello/goodbye, Tresspasser, etc... are just as rare, just as good, but unknown to the masses. The rarest cd I have, however, is from 2009! That's right, this year! Only 3 copies exist! The 3 discs were made at Ardent studios, one kept by the engineer and 2 given to the bands guitarist and in turn one was given to me! The cd in question is: TOP HEAVY CRUSH-S/T The disc is brilliant and unfortunately do to extenuating circumstances will never see the light of day.... Terry, I have a cd I think its called "Second Nature", if I remember right it features the brothers from Top Heavy Crush , its from like 1997. Kenny, can I have it. Pm me and let's meet up for some shopping trading...
  18. Are B'z worth checking out? Without a doubt!! The only flaw for the narrow minded, is that the lyrics are in Japanese, but the songs are truly fabulous!! Stellar musicianship and just the perfect band! Here is the video for Burn: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ut1OPwVDkMU And All Out Attack: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YtHzHdVM1K0 And B'z with Aerosmith Train Kept Rollin': http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G2oTSy5wbDA

  22. Caught Slash on the Craig Ferguson show the other night and all things considered, this song SUCKED!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=owTpE16d0dY
  23. The kids and I watch this one quite regularly and I don't mind, for obvious reasons... On topic: Underdog
  24. Y'know, Terry, I always preferred Tiffany over Debbie (I got a thing for redheads)... But I must admit, the above photo has me reconsidering that position.... Sadly, Debbie didn't look anywhere NEAR this hot in "Mega Shark Vs. Giant Octopus".... I here my brother, redheads all the way, but that Deb shot is sweet...
