  1. Reo Speedwagon had a few interesting record titles, they did that "You can tune a piano, but you can't tuna fish" one as well.
  2. Pacific Rim and Fat Albert... The kids enjoyed them both!
  3. Hot Tub Time Machine 2 Despite low expectations going in I found this to be fu@$ing funny!
  4. And in the same ilk or at least regionally, what if LAyne Staley would'nt have OD'd. I know Alice In Chains wasn't up to much at the time, but I wonder what music he might be making... And, even though his death overshadows everyone else' in the greater Seattle area and he is credited with the downfall of "our" music, but one could wonder what Kurt Cobain would be up too? We certainly wouldn't have the Foo Fighters? Or would have Grohl done that stuff eventually anyway?
  5. The one that resonates most with me is "What if..." Andrew Wood would not have relapsed and OD'd on the crest of the release of the epic Apple album (or obviously if he still was alive period). We would have no Pearl Jam for one. And who knows how the "Seattle scene" would have unfolded with the arena rock/glam stylings of Wood and MLB in the mix... https://youtu.be/3cK8dZ0EZI8 https://youtu.be/NmT30Q2IYTk
  6. Spheeris to Randy from Odin: "Hey Randy, why do wear pants with no butt in them?" Randy's reply: "Ventilates my scrotum." One in a sea of absolute gut wrenching mostly idiotic and hysterically funny lines from The Metal Years. I have 2 and 3 on good ole VHS and 2 has been viewed more times than necessary, but keeps getting funnier every time I see it...
  7. Hmm, interesting. Not bad, but can't help merge Hall of the Mountain King with this Kingdom of the Hammer King...
  8. Still hard to wrap my mind around this... 2 months later and still saddens me to think my pal won't be ringing me with some such none sense or another. Found a couple more pix in my photobucket so I thought I'd post them here. The car ones are from the first James and Terry cd extravaganza. Then a few more from my old house on the journey 2 quest for any and all high quality and quantity cd's on the planet... RIP my friend, I will raise a few next Friday for what would have been your 51st!
  9. I like the song just fine. The forced connection to Guns N Roses instantly turns me off. Could have just told me it was a new band and I would have been more interested. Now I will avoid at all costs just because of the lame attempt to incite interest referencing a nobody who does/did/doing nothing.
  10. I never did see any of the old stuff. Would still love to hear it/have it. Still only have the vinyl of the S/T and the Roughhouse cd.
  11. Funny stuff... I heard the NFL kicking around the idea of a 8 game suspension for Thomas. That would certainly make for a loser of a season for the Pat's...
  12. And poking about I'm not seeing any of the previous releases available anywhere's either. I do need the Raise Your Fists and the latest S/T (Black Tiger). Fortunately I have the Rise of the Tora and the previous release when they went by the name Warryor.
  13. Over the past few nights saw: Voices-EXCELLENT! Ryan Reynolds best role/performance ever! The Gambler-Remake of the Caan classic, not so classic remake... Big Eyes-Surprisingly good. Burton is a solid director and the acting is top shelf!
  14. Here: http://www.rockngrowl.com/hansel-69-minutes-with-hansel-album-details/
  15. Interesting. Seems no releases can be found, easily anyway on the interweb for sale... Very bizarre. The latest as mentioned is on Amazon and Best Buy but from $25 and up...
  16. So spun this one a few more times and every time I hear it I can't shake that Damn Yankee's tune Coming of Age... pretty sure its the guitar work, but?
  17. I enjoy the multiple choice covers... blonde or brunette, hmmm...
  18. Bad Weather Project-Stormriders Will'O'Wisp-Inusto
  19. Found a pretty scarce OSTS to the movie Explorers composed by Jerry Goldsmith on Varese Sarabande. Also has three musical numbers by Robert Palmer (All Around The World), red 7 (Less Than Perfect) and Night Ranger (This Boy Needs To Rock).
  20. So I got sucked in and bored and listened to the first 20 seconds of that abysmal song. EEEEE git! Just why and I dig COL and this sounds zero like them.
