  1. Watched Neighbors again. Not the epic Belushi Akroyd film but the Seth Rogan comedy. I liked it and Zach Efrons fun to watch and easy on the eyes.
  2. Sanchez has always been sub teir qb imho. I don't quite understand his longevity.
  3. I didn't want to ruin the mood of the thread, but as y'all wrecked it, I'm with you dudes. She looks like she'd be a nice friend, but she doesn't really get my sex juices flowing at all... Of course swerves and curves makes the trip more enjoyable but at the end of the day a drives a drive...
  4. Good tune. I dig the tracks from the EP from 2013 too! https://www.facebook.com/damndice
  5. So sad. No tv so no nfl for me. Will only have the fantasy football app to clue me in on scores... And c'mon Dan T'bag is a super star, isn't he?
  6. Missed this and I'm glad I did. Not a good song, but the video is nice...
  7. I did like that acoustic "Boyz In The Hood" reboot from a handful of years ago it was nicely done...
  8. Interesting. The S/T is the ONLY LA Guns release for me. Something about that vibe and they are so GREASY. Cocked And Loaded had a handful of acceptable songs and then throughout the years a whole mess of onesy twosey's for acceptable tunes. Could probably make an album of the "good" songs and keep the catalog to 2, maybe 3 releases...
  9. Sure is but really nice to hear a "lost"track from the all to excellent EP. If your inclined I added it to the DB a long while ago: http://www.heavyharmonies.com/cgi-bin/glamcd.cgi?BandNum=3986&CDName=Soren and Retrospect booted it as you can see here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/121710284592?item=121710284592&vectorid=229466&rmvSB=true
  10. And I think it was more than Butch right? If I'm not mistaken the bassist and drummer were the same into Marvelous 3... and were credited as collaborators.
  11. So I bumped into another music geek such as ourselves today at the fair. As we discussed local music from back and the day our conversation turned to the band Soren and as life would have it singer Jonah Lance is residing in my neck of the woods and in turn I was turned onto this demo from an old demo tape from back around the time of that CD demo I turned you all on to some years back. As with most old tape transfers this one is a) a demo and has some rough spots but it is really cool to hear some "new" Soren! Enjoy kiddies! and for poops and laughs "Bottom of the Barrel" from the 93 cd.
  12. Agree with Gener8tor. Great for Jeff. Super cool guy, a total music geek like the rest of us and unfortunately courtesy of Skholl Records his Screams Of Angels release did not get barely a blip of recognition! Time to make a call...
  13. And a little deeper it appears a name change created The Blackstone Roses in 2013... https://youtu.be/4EV4pLbtWmA https://youtu.be/QUkjPJVBYLI https://youtu.be/BS7zB75wvv4
  14. As luck would have it a deeper search reveals the I assume brothers were doing some blues in 2014 under the moniker Criss Raines & The Grimm Rhythms. https://www.facebook.com/CrissRainesAndTheGrimmRhythms
  15. So tooling about on the tube of you and I came across this video for a killer tune called "This Ain't Pretty" from the band Last Outlaw Society. Unfortunately aside from long dead links I roadblocked in searching for more.!? Here is their ReVerbNation bio: Coming up on the streets of Toronto, Last Outlaw Society is a full throttle, high octane, all original hard rock band. Self proclaimed as“street rock”, Last Outlaw Society was founded in 2009, and consists of members Nicki Raines(vocals), Criss Raines(guitar), Brandon Beretta(drums) and Scott Black(bass). Staying true to their rock and roll roots, L.O.S has built a catalogue of hard, unapologetic rock anthems with songs ranging in topics anywhere from sex and substance abuse to personal struggles and the hardships of adolescence. Tied together with a “live fast, die hard” attitude, the music offered by L.O.S takes you through the reckless lifestyle of todays rock and roll culture at break-neck speed with a blatant disregard for todays pop saturated musical landscape. Is anyone in the know knowing more? Man I'd like to hear some more! https://youtu.be/1LSa010WEzM
  16. Burying the Ex Harmless Zom Com directed by Joe Dante. A nice way to burn 80 minutes.
  17. If I had to choose...and being known I dig the lot already, I'd say today to be Blackout.
  18. 10 hours is nice, but I only needed 10 minutes...ha who am I kidding 5 minutes...
  19. Babadook In an attempt to put my disappointment into words a piece of crap comes to mind or a steaming pile of... well you get the idea. I was SOOO hoping this was going to live up to the hype and boy what a let down. That said if you want an after school special or Hallmark Network styled "horror" film have at it, but if you want something innovative and as stated on the box "deeply disturbing" or "you will never see a more terrifying film", then you should look elsewhere... The Family Meh. DeNiro and Pfiffer are a mob family being relo'd for the umpteenth time and there comedic, yet violent struggles to stay incognito.
  20. For all you all that are begging for "Hit The Lights" part two here you go almost some note for note riff offs on this one from the Greek's of Demolition Train and there 2015 release Unleash The Hordes just out. This is the whole album and as you zip through it you will here all the Metallica riffs "borrowed" herein. Enjoy! https://www.facebook.com/pages/Demolition-Train/296282813748953 https://youtu.be/ReP7vyCZuD8
  21. Super duper power metal from Italy, very Jugulator Preistish and of course Primal Scream-like. New album Unstoppable out June 26th 2015. https://www.facebook.com/SteelRaiserOfficial
