  1. We all know and are frustrated by milking the legacy of great bands when the main members are no longer apart of the band. This is a perfect example. Phil and Rex would be better off starting a new project. There is no Pantera without the Abbott brothers... end of.
  2. A "Bluegrass" tribute album to Def Leppard from 2008. I must admit, I don't hate it. I actually like it a lot. The tracks fit well with this style. A testament to their greatness.
  3. Sorry mate, I still haven't checked this stuff out. I'll let you know when I do.
  4. "The Cure" have some great memory inducing tracks from back in the day. This is by far my favourite of theirs. A Killer track from '90 that's not out of place here, IMO.
  5. For me, I'd have to go back to the 70s. Very early memories of Suzi Quatro, AC/DC and of course, KISS. Joan Jett's "I Love Rock and Roll" from '81 had a big impact on me at 9. I've posted it before, but this track by Roger Glover featuring RJD from '74 was played every morning on Aussie TV when I was 3,4,5. It was definitely a gateway to Ronnie. His voice was imprinted onto my brain at an early age.

I've always thought of myself as above average.
  7. Nothing to do with "Quiet Riot". A very cool video about "Steelheart" from a new YouTube channel called "Metal Health". He only has 4 videos up and 350 subscribers, but this is the sort of shit I love. I'm looking forward to more stuff from this guy.

    Yeah, especially for ugly chicks.
  9. A Killer track with great commercial success from '88. Back when this stuff was still in the charts and you could hear tracks like this on commercial radio. It truly was a Golden age.
  10. Not particularly, from memory. The inclusion of some of their later 80s stuff, "Tears Are Falling", etc, just make it a good all rounder.
  11. "Double Platinum" and "Smashes, Thrashes & Hits" by KISS are also iconic.
  12. I had a lot of Mainstream "Greatest Hits" albums. The Beatles "Red" and "Blue" albums along with The Stone's "Hot Rocks" I and II and "Jump Back" are essentials IMO. Jimi Hendrix - The Ultimate Experience is another must have. Foreigner - The Very Best... and Beyond is a good one with 3 Killer new (at the time) tracks, "Soul Doctor", "Prisoner of Love" and "With Heaven on our side". W.A.S.P. - First Blood Last Cuts was a good one. The "L.O.V.E. Machine" and "I Wanna Be Somebody" remixes are Great. Motley Crue committed a Mortal Sin with "Decade of Decadence" by inexplicably choosing a live track for "Kickstart My Heart". Why? We all had their albums so it was no big deal, just very annoying.
  13. Happy Birthday Mate! I turned 50 in April. I'm still in denial.
  14. Yeah, very big Queensryche vibes. It's good stuff, but with a bit more polish it would've been great stuff.
  15. One of the Greats. I didn't realise at the time, the significance of the badge on the cover. You've just Inspired me to give it a spin right now.
  16. Yeah, this album was one of the shining lights in the dark ages of the mid 90s.
  17. Are you sure they're genuine though? Maybe that's why they weren't advertised as such. If they are genuine however, I certainly reckon it would increase their value with mega "Talisman" fans who already have their pristine copies, but would love to have the signatures. Especially Marcel Jacob's. As for signatures on Albums in general, I'd probably prefer they weren't signed, unless I actually had them signed in person with a photo to serve as proof and definitely NO personalised autographs! That would lower the value I think.
  18. The bike wasn't even moving FFS.
