I'm not angry, I'm just disappointed.
  2. Yeah, I don't have a problem with any track mentioned, except for, "Heart - All I Wanna Do". I really love "Heart", but I've always hated it. It's basically a story about a Woman who cheats on her Husband, manipulates and seduces a stranger in order to get impregnated and then goes on to manipulate and deceive her Husband into raising a child that isn't his. Not exactly your typical romantic love ballad.
  3. I was also a fan of "Filthy, Rich and Catflap" back in the day.
  4. Good call on "Marillion". I'll also add "Hawkwind". This clip was the first time I'd heard of either of those bands. Only the Aussies and Brits will recognize this. As a wise man once said,...

This is the way to increase your post/like count. Forget the Song/Album game. This is a true contribution. I think you've found your niche mate.
  6. I know this is a massive call, as I love Foriegner, but I reckon the first two Lou Gramm solo albums and the Shadow King album are on par with the Foriegner discography. I said "on par", not "better than". Mr. Moonlight is awesome BTW.
  7. Looking back now, I don't know how we managed to stay in the loop. Word of mouth, magazines, that was about it. It's so much easier now. I guess that shows the passion we all have.
  8. I just voted "None", but I don't think it registered. Anyway, every single one of those bands have provided me with great memories and produced great music. Whatever these guys choose to create in the future is alright by me. They've all earned it in my book.
  9. No. I absolutely appreciate Air Supply, but no.
  10. The more I dwell on this, the more impossible it is. Sorry mate, I'm out.
  11. I have three for Sleaze/Glam. Motley Crue Gun's n' Roses Skid Row, Again, number four is hard.
  12. My three for AOR would be, Survivor Foriegner Journey, But I'm having trouble with number four.
  13. It's hard to argue with that. Deep Purple over Rainbow, maybe?
  14. Actually, my thinking cap just exploded. This is almost impossible.
  15. Great thread idea! Although I'd consider Sleaze/Glam as one genre and I'd add "Metal". I'll have to put my thinking cap on.
  16. "Desperate Heart". The Michael Bolton track (yes, Michael Bolton) popped up in my rotation today and it reminded me of this, then that, which led me to this, then that. You all know how it is. As a song title it has a great pedigree. These are a nice mix of styles from our music and these tracks are all quality.
  17. I know Michael Bolton is a bit of a walking punchline, but his first two albums are AOR Gold!
  18. Don't sell yourself short mate. Your Main Site reviews are quite a substantial and helpful contribution. I've been reading your reviews for as long as I've been here.
  19. 3 from "Hericane Alice - Tear the House Down". I was lucky enough to have a friend back in the late 80s, early 90s, who had his finger on the pulse with our music. I don't know how. Back in the pre Internet days, word of mouth from this guy was golden. He mentioned these guys to me and the "Bangalore Choir" connection. This was one of the first albums I bought from a local importer called "Raggamuffin Records". I'm sure Doggy remembers those guys. The two "ballads" I've posted are two of my favourites. Pure Hard Rock ballads IMO. This was the Golden Age.
  20. Doggy must've beaten you by seconds. Unfortunately, that means your post is invalid and therefore incorrect. I'm sorry to inform you that you are no longer able to participate in this thread.
  21. Just one of the many who fell through the cracks I guess. Its a shame, these guys were Quality.
  22. "Songs" of the day today. "XorigiN - State of the Art" (2011). I was reminded of this album from a youtube channel I'm subscribed to. Here's 4 tracks, but I could've posted the whole album TBH. Killer Stuff!
