  1. I love this song! I've been excited about it ever since hearing some live versions on YouTube. The recorded version is more relaxed than I expected. I thought that it would be tighter and have more of that Darkness "oomph." Still, it's a great song and I keep listening to it.
  2. I was really excited about Hard Honey. I loved the songs and sound. They were always on the verge of releasing an EP. The songs were available to stream and they even had a release month at one point. Unfortunately, it never happened. I even contacted them about it. They decided to hold off for a bit. Then, a while later, they decided that they didn't want to pursue the rock direction and they became a new band. Even though they never really got going, they are missed. I think that it's telling when, over a year later, their new Facebook page as The New Electric still has less "Likes" than their Hard Honey page.
  3. Here's the first new song from The Burning Crows' upcoming second album, Murder At The Gin House, which is supposed to be released this summer. It was supposed to be June, but it's been pushed back to July now. I like their first album a lot. This new song is good. I like the edgier songs from them a little bit more, but it's good.
  4. You and me, brother, you and me. You, you, and me, brother. You, you, and me. We DO exist!
  5. I agree with all of that. The new song, "Rockin' To The Edge Of The Night," is exactly the fun kind of rock that I wanna hear from Trixter these days, and it's perfect timing with summer coming up!
  6. You and me, brother, you and me.
  7. They've made the whole album available to stream now: https://www.yahoo.com/music/first-listen-halestorms-new-album-into-the-115339849406.html Honestly, I'm not as impressed as I'd like to be so far, but I haven't even listened to the majority of it yet, so I need to be fair.
  8. The crazy falsetto is not something that I would want in every rock band, but it's been a signature of The Darkness since the very beginning and I love getting it from them, if that makes sense.
  9. I love The Darkness and this is definitely a good rocker. I'm a huge fan of their previous album, Hot Cakes, which didn't/doesn't get enough credit. "Barbarian" sounds like a mix of that album and the edginess/lyrical content of their debut, Permission To Land.
  10. I liked "I Get Off" and "It's Not You" from their debut album, but I really became a fan with The Strange Case Of... I finally saw them live for the first time last month and I was thoroughly impressed. I'm really looking forward to the new album.
  11. I love the talent of the guys involved. I agree with Geoff and KarpetRydOFunk that the name is like "Really?" To be fair, this rock 'n' roll game has been around for decades. Most of the good names have already been scooped up along the way, I suppose. So far, I think that this sounds good, but I don't hear anything special. I admit that I haven't been big on the whole supergroup movement in recent years, but if there's one that I really want to dig, it's this one. I hope to hear more soon. I know that I'll enjoy it, but I hope that it'll really grab me.
  12. I like the new song. I wasn't as disappointed with Riot Avenue as many people were, but I agree that it didn't jump out at me like New Religion did.
  13. I'm really glad that they decided to do this. Their last one, Show Business, is quite enjoyable. And, of course, Blow My Fuse is one of the greatest albums of the genre.
  14. Night Ranger are one of the best. I eagerly await this one.
  15. That's too bad, but I'm not very surprised. It was my understanding that it was pretty much Casey Jones' band.
  16. Thanks! I enjoyed Worlds Collide. I didn't hear anything that sounded as good in those clips, but they're just clips.
  17. Well, it sucks that the uploader hates my country and doesn't want me to watch this, but I was still able to after trying a few different proxies. The song and video are just okay to me, but I do like Santa Cruz.
  18. The two Metal Majesty albums, This Is Not A Drill and 2005.
  19. Here's the new music video from Chicago's rock band Loveblast!
  20. Indeed! My initial opinion was, "This is good." After a few listens, I realized, "This is damn good." I think that it's one of the best of its breed in the last few years.
  21. I became a fan with Livin' Out Loud. For me, My Revolution is good but doesn't top it so far, but I will be listening to it more and more over the coming days.
  22. Cool cover! It looks like it's a painting, which is awesome to get that "classic" image.
  23. It's another Johnny Lima album for sure. Great production (with that signature Johnny Lima sound), very well-written songs, etc. However, I will say that it's a surprisingly melancholy album. Is that just my take on it?
