White Knuckle Ride? So they're covering Jamiroquai? well as you know, the Martin bros of Vega are seasoned songsmiths & have written some of the best tunes out there for a plethora of artists. Don't be surprised if the jamiroquai song was actually penned by the Martin bros Like Glen suggested, it's most likely an original song, but I wouldn't be opposed to an AOR rendition of Jamiroquai's track.

Does that mean he liked the other one? Was it "Pyromania?"

Nordic streak indeed, which happens very regularly with me, as some of the best music is coming out of your part of the world and has done for quite a while now and long may it continue to do so. Believe it! If I had to choose only one country from which I could listen to music for the rest of my life, it would be Sweden. Top class in nearly every genre of music you can name

Paranormal Activity 2 This one had a few good jumps, and it nicely ties into the first. There's something about found footage films that work so well with the horror/suspense genre. I think it's the fact they make you participate. In other films you simply sit there and watch, in found footage films you're constantly examining the screen, looking in the shadows, reflections, etc. so you don't miss anything.

Can't go wrong with a haul like that! I thought so, too. I can't lie, I'm proud of this particular purchase. What took ya so long...? Hey, I'mma come out there and smack ya! I'm still a rookie around here, so there are a lot of things I don't have/haven't listened to. It's part of the reason I love it. I'm always finding something new, even if it's really old.

XYZ is classic for sure, But I love that Hurricane! Ah, yes. I've been meaning to familiarize myself with XYZ. Where should I start? The beginning? S\T and Hungry are both awesome. You never heard them before? Man, there's a lot of stuff I haven't heard, yet. In a way that is a good thing, a lot of awesome stuff back then, and it's all new to you. I've heard 99.9% of the stuff from the 80's early 90's hard rock scene. I like to think that way, too.

But now that I look at the track list, she chose a lot of obscure songs from our genre. Could be good after all. Mos def, it's why Def Leppard's "Yeah!" worked for me. I had never heard most of those tracks before.

Yeah, that is odd. Especially when you consider that Steve Newman post was back in early August. If the album was finished, why wait so long? Even if he just heard unmastered tracks, does it really take 180+ days to get from there to finished product?

Because it's a covers album, it will receive it's share of neglect. However, musically it should be great, considering it's sporting half of Mr. Gieoli's recent line-up--Alessandro Del Vecchio and Anna Portalupi.
