Ain’t Nobody Better Eönian Records‘ press release indicates (with slight edits): “Indianapolis, Indiana – In the early ‘90s, local rockers Toy Cannon were on the verge of signing a major label record deal. At the time, their unsigned recordings caught the ear of MTV’s Adam Curry and literally gained recognition overnight on NYC’s Z-100. After winning a battle of the bands sponsored by the radio station and being awarded the high honor of opening for Poison, the grunge movement took hold and diverted destiny. These early recordings of the band have been in the vault, unearthed for over three decades, … UNTIL NOW!! Eonian Records proudly releases Toy Cannon‘s “Forever One,” a beautifully packaged CD with all the original BearTracks recordings remastered, including a bonus track from the Twain sessions and basement tape home demos. A gorgeous 12-page booklet is included, rich with Toy Cannon live shots, candid photos, band flyers, news clippings & ads, song lyrics, and a complete comprehensive biography, making it the ultimate time capsule piece for those who remember this monumental moment in the band’s history. Look out for Toy Cannon “Forever One” on Eonian Records.” Dead Planet already posted this in the video section...I just added it to the topic
  3. Definitely better...just preordered Surprise Attack remaster due out in December from Bad Reputation.
  4. It might be a better price on Discogs? if you can get one closer to you... https://www.discogs.com/sell/list?sort=price%2Casc&limit=25&master_id=622036&ev=mb or Musicstack... https://www.musicstack.com/album/sister+whiskey/liquor+and+poker
  5. We don't get many shows here, well not many big acts...suppose thats the problem in small country any that are of interest to my tastes I usually try to get to though.
  6. I've never been that lucky or probably never will...haven't left Norn Iron in over 4 years Think that there are a few here that have been to em though...Jez even played at one with Heavy Pettin if I'm correct in saying.
  7. Yeah this is sounding very good....prefer their more synthy stuff and actually prefer Hurtwave to this
  8. as it stands...no placings yet... Devil's Train Kissin' Dynamite Degreed Black Swan Dan Reed Network Caught In Action Chez Kane Crashdiet Ronnie Atkins Cats In Space but things could change when I do my December run through...Ozzy could be in there yet...but I don't see much on the release schedule that should impact anything.
  9. All decent enough but maybe Perfect Plan is the only one with a chance.
  10. Love these guys and this is good & bad news...great to see them back...but Steves vocals helped make them for me...that rasp and swagger...but I'll keep an eye on this.
  11. The New Roses - Sweet Poison White Skies - Black Tide Michael Bormann's Jaded Hard - Power To Win Whisper Alley - Up Yer Alley (The "LOST U.S Jewels" Vol.15) Tangier - Four Winds (Rock Candy)
  12. Yeah the only 4 (first 4?) worth owning lol
  13. Didn't know they were gone either...just hope they continue and keep the sound they have
  14. Yeah this pretty good stuff, the "What Do You Know About Love?" track is excellent, they could do without making videos though
  15. I see in the promo shot that they have left enough room between them to just edit Brett out in the (near) future
  16. Yeah very good album...grabbed this on download then bought the cd direct from the band back in March.. Could've sworn that there was a thread around at the time as thats where I think I seen it although seemingly not much interest...til now
  17. I actually have this one on Vinyl still sealed after all of these years which came with promotional posters actually thought that I had sold all of my Vinyl years ago but found this Warp Drive - Gimme Gimme & Vicious Rumors - Digital Dictator recently when making space for other stuff to be chucked up into the Attic also have this on disc after selling my cassette upon ungrading...pretty good stuff if memory serves.
  18. This is already sounding much better than the debut...for me anyway...thats another solid tune.
  19. Not bad...I always worry when a band releases the album before we get to hear any of it...I'm hoping this is good as I've already preordered it and its on its way...although the debut didn't exactly pull up trees...but he is usually good value...and as Geoff said it'll be better than current Jaded Heart...which tbh isn't hard...unfortunately.
  20. Will keep an eye out...first track for me was a bit of a plodder...second definitely has that Cult sound to it.
