Reaction to "Living On The Edge"

I was the same which is why it took so long to grab it after its release...I mean it came out 13 years ago...it's actually quite good I'm enjoying it and dare I say probably my surprise album of the year...even though it came out in 2009
-
I like the HEAT disc also, its most definitely not THE biggest disappointment of the year, think its just mentioned as the hopes were so high for it...but for me it is by no means a bad album at all...my biggest disappointment would probably be Shiraz Lanes new cd...it offered so much before release...and after the fantastic Carnival Days & Vibration I E.P I was excited by news of a new disc....I'd even put the new Nordic Union ahead of HEAT in disappointment stakes.

Georg & Monika...absolute legends and will be sorely missed...had been buying from them for 25 years at least...the only shop I could find them hard to get where I live US,European & Japan releases...I wish them all the best in their retirement . I hope that Pride & Joy can continue with the legacy they built , we'll see come the New Year

Still awaiting mines arrival from Eonian as AORHeaven close on 22nd Dec On the plus side I see Replay In the UK are becoming a stockist for Eonian so I'll get em sooner then
-
Yeah not in the league of Only Child etc...but a nice surprise...I enjoyed it
-
Its actually a song with lyrics...I thought it was gonna be an instrumental of some sort...but no its a song that sounds recorded either live or live in a studio (demo wise) sounds like Skid Row to me. As for the disc I'm really enjoying it,love that title track its stuck in my head...across between Slik Toxik,Lynch Mob & Skid Row

Burnt Out Wreck - Stand And Fight

Really good album...managed to get this on disc.

Unreal...Mbappe scores a hat-trick (only the 2nd in a world cup final) and still ends up on losing side

Been playing for about 12 years in a local league, was always pretty good and a friend asked if i'd join there team in that league , said no at first because I had visions of these guys hitting tons for fun...they don't...but I did so I joined up and the rest is history...used to practice every night for a few hours then league on a Friday night...in a pub of course Don't practice now half as much as I should, I had dartitis a few years ago, couldn't let go of the dart...really fucked up my throw and my head cause I knew I could play but my arm/head wouldnt allow it it lasted nearly 3 years,i've had to change my throw style/dart weight(was 21g now 30g)/flight set up(standard now with short 32mm stems) but im gettin there...starting to enjoy it again...and a few pints help

Just back from The Dead Daisies last night in Belfast Limelight...very good , enjoyed em....Graham Bonnet in support...said acoustic set on poster...it was full on electric show still got the voice and he was ill too...fair play to him Grabbed tickets for Steel Panther in Ulster Hall in May while I was up.
-
Yeah I remember that..it ruined everything...both Germany & France won the European Champinships with it if memory serves...a shit way to lose though...that silver goal thing was worse
-
That ref always does that...he enjoys the spotlight...we've seen it in the champions league more times than enough...thinks its all about him
-
Yeah...thats strange suppose after writing the last album they dispensed with his services...least we hope they did...maybe he didnt have time cause hes booged into to so many things
-
Agreed..an album of that type stuff will suit me
-
Loved Karma...Better Days Comin' was a bit more meh for me...so was IV if im honest...must revisit them again though, has been a while
-
Yeah love em both...the debut more but not by much...as pointed out so many great songs between them fav tracks being Georgia Lights & Legend Of C.C Road but there aren't really any not good tracks on these.
