So the 'Mistaken' one is good too? I couldn't find a freakin' thing on the net about these CDs, just one tiny article comparing the style of the 'Mistaken' album to Alice In Chains... so I avoided it. But you reckon it's comparable to the debut and Trixie? I did buy 'BURST' yesterday and I'll get this one too if you reckon it's just as good. I'd say the Mistaken release is a good one.....I've never thought of Alice in Chains when listening to Amsterdam so I don't know where that comparison came from.....

I really dislike cover albums...they usually get one or two spins and then collect dust....but I must admit to being intrigued by the tracks they've chosen to cover....I may take the plunge and pick it up...

I'd put Trixie ahead of Amsterdam in quality but not too far....

Damn, I haven't managed to track down their first release yet for a decent price....

I say they are well worth $10 each.... a good band, I own all their releases....these guys play a combination of AOR, party rock & hard rock ....

and another Vain song. Right Im gonna check this song and 'Beat The Bullet' and see if Vain are a band I need to investigate. Cheers OK, so I listened to a bit of Vain - their debut album I think, nice enough pretty basic sleaze glam stuff. I'll persevere with it, but first impressions leave me with the feeling it's something that has been totally eclipsed by the more recent awesome stuff by the likes of Crashdiet, Crazy Lixx, HS etc etc. I agree that Vain is average at best and bands like Crashdiet & Crazy Lixx are waaay better.......I've never understood the worship they receive from certain quarters...
