  1. LOL, I cant ever imagine a Cannibal Corpse song being 'catchy' !!! mine : Place Vendome - Changes (a truly excellent song )
  2. That's what I was going to say. Not that I think they have no talent, because they clearly do, but to me they're firmly entrenched in yawnville. Well youve obviously got to be a fan of progressive rock If you are, then Script and Fugazi are 2 of the best Neo Progressive albums ever released IMO
  3. Another fuckin 8 inches in places overnight! Oh err
  4. Thanks! The nap might a bit tricky tho with my 2 year old running riot!!! LOL
  5. oh sweetie, that is so awesome! Thanks mate
  6. The only really great tracks for me are the first and last.......also, does 'I Need Someone' sound like 'Another Night'?? One thing is for sure. Place Vendome destroys it. So having lived with this one & played it repeatedly for a couple of weeks I've reached the same conclusion as Glen. There's nothing horrible on there but there are a lot of songs that sound identical to past albums. In fact if you play this alongside the last 3 Bad Habit albums they all just sound like a continuation of the same recording session. The 2 best songs are "I Don't Need You" (which has the exact same chorus as "The Air I Breathe" from the last album) and "I Need Someone" (which has the same chorus as "Another Night" - as Glen mentioned), with the rest of the songs being decent but nothing special. This album reminds me of the "Adult Orientation" disc, a few killer songs but largely forgettable, & a disappointing album from one of my all-time favourite bands... Agreed, not a patch on Revolution.....and as much as I like 'I Need Someone', 'Another Night' is far superior.
  7. The Fish era is the real classic stuff. Studio albums, Script, Fugazi and Misplaced Childhood are the best. Clutching At Straws is pretty good, but not an essential purchase in my book. If you do buy Script, make sure you get the re-mastered version with bonus disc. The sound is soooooo much better and the bonus disc contains some of their best songs (not on any albums) such as the classic 'Grendel' etc. Id also buy the live albums 'Reel to Real' (this contains a much better version of Emerald Lies - excellent tracks off Fugazi) and 'The Thieving Magpie' as both are excellent.
  8. The only track I'm not really taken with is the ballad on the end.... You wait til you hear the full song! Just awesome - half way through the song changes and is nothing short of mind blowing.
  9. Running With The Night - Lionel Ritchie
  10. Eyes Of Love - Jeff Scott Soto
  11. March Of The Dead - Story Of The Year
  12. Tradia - Trade Winds Danger Danger - Cockroach Story Of The Year - In The Wake......
  13. I expect it to be one of the top albums of the year. I don't expect much. I just expect it to f*cking crucify every single CD from 2009 and possibly the last decade. Seriously, I'm expecting the best album of 2009... not one of them. Well I said at the beginning of the year........ 1. Danger Danger 2. Place Vendome I hope Im not wrong
