  1. If by done you mean no new album, maybe that's true, but I just saw a flyer somewhere on the net that they're playing at Vasby Rock Festival with W.A.S.P and H.E.A.T probably around July 2015, and the formation is intact (West, Ravel, Poley, Marcello) so they're still active I guess yes active, but not recording.......at least that was the last i heard.
  2. Well the band name pretty much gives it away eh? ;-) I think it must be the lack of daylight or something, but there are 3 'happy' bands from Finland who buck the trend......... Reckless Love Brother Firetribe Lovex The others should make more of an effort eh??!! Oh yeah, I forget Reckless Love are Finnish because they are so very much the opposite to all the others. Maybe they are Swedes in disguise....... Dude sung for a Swedish band so I guess enough of it rubbed off on him. Just like I'd like to rub off on his abs. Uh, I mean the sun is nice and cars and trucks crush things. those abs are photo shopped...........

    Rugby World Cup

I tipped Eng vs Aus as the upset ;-) Fingers crossed. I'm sure it'll happen, but one can only hope not. I would treasure it dearly to see England kicked out of their own World Cup so early. And it'd be even sweeter if it was the Aussies that did it. Yeah but it wouldn't be the Aussies who did it as we were never expected to beat you guys, it would be Wales........in fact it would be outselves lol for being so damned sloppy giving away 7 penalties in one game - you just cannot do that at the top level. The mad thing is, is that if England do (by some miracle) beat Australia and Australia beat Wales, Aus could go out cos of that bonus point they dropped in the first game. Weird.
  5. That's the only one I've heard, but its pretty great isnt it? Lots of anthemic tunes from what I recall?? By far their best and only one worth hearing. I threw a 74% at it but I was so "over them" by this point that I just wanted it over. There's some okay song on it, but they have a very negative sound/style/. For lack of a better word - so Finnish. Just sad, miserable, gloomy and uninspiring. Don't know what it is, just seems like every song is about "pain and misery" even if it isn't. I'd like to employ Stefan to just start slapping some happiness into people in Finland, because the music from there always seems miserable, even if unintentional. 8. well they did state this - The band will be documenting the recording process and uploading studio clips and song samples on their FB page as the album takes shape. Expect the album to hit the stores in late Spring / early Summer 2016.
  9. Cant get past this bloke's voice. It's a no from me :-)

    Rugby World Cup

England threw away the Wales game - gave away too many sloppy penalties (as usual). Sets up a big game with Australia next Saturday though, although I do not rate our chances. Prob end up about 25-15 to Oz.
  11. Bloody hell. Now that is impressive.
  12. No i am used to both but i can appreciate the logic behind imperial. Simple as that.
  13. I thought DD were done........perhaps thats why they have branched out.
  14. @ Geoff........ Loads of things in the UK are in metric, but people still dont know what it is and 'refer' it back to old talk lol. That's just a fact.......like it or not. lol What is a metre anyway?? Who the hell decided that was the best way of measuring things?? Well here is what a metre is - Since 1983, the metre has been internationally defined as the length of the path travelled by light in vacuum during a time interval of 1/ 299 792 458 of a second. That makes a lot of sense eh?? Metric is more based on scientific measurements or measurements in maths but that doesnt mean it makes more sense in everyday life for people to visualise what that measurement refers to. It might be easier to divide by 10 but the imperial system was designed (way back - probably around Roman times or earlier) for the common sense approach - so you could visualise things more easily - that;s why people still relate back to imperial to get a better understanding.......... Consider this - If you hold your hands out straight in front of you, arms locked. Turn your palms toward each other as if to say “it was about this big”. The distance between them is a foot. If you stick your index finger and thumb out so they are parallel to each other they are an inch apart...or close to. The length of an average forearm is about a foot, and your actual foot (in a shoe) is about a foot (roughly speaking). The length of the top part of your thumb is about an inch. These are units we can easily visualize because we see them every day. Metric is easier in science to 'calculate' things - for example when machines need to work in certain ways etc, but stinks when you try to visualise something 'in your brain'........for example if I was to say something was 4 feet wide you could easily visualise this as 4 times the width of your outstretched arms........say to someone about 120cms and 'our brains' have a far more diffcult time comprehending this. Same with weather - farenheit was easier to comprehend cos 0 was cold and 100 was hot. Made more sense to the brain that 37 is hot and -15 or something is cold. So there you go. Imperial will always be easier to comprehend because most things you want to measure in everyday life you need to be able to visualise - doesnt matter how you need to multiply things up, whether in tens or 12ths - when do you ever do that?? What difference does it make?? You still manage to comprehend 12 hours in the morning and 24 hours in a day - easy right?? ;-)
  15. yep, i'll be picking up the new album in 2016, but ignoring this.
  16. Are you serious? It is the peak of illogical-ness in this entire world (well, second only to religion)!! What is so wrong with stuff that makes logical sense? Yards, feet? Miles... gallons. All that rubbish. 1cm is 1cm, and 100 of them are 1m. 1000m is 1km. It's logical, simple and makes sense. A foot is 30.48cm? Are you serious? Okay, so what do I do with that information now? A yard equals 0.9144m? Are you actually serious? Have you heard of a fucking metre? That thing's a full fucking hundred 100cm. Not almost 91cm. For fuck's sake. I know I've littered these pages with this hatred of illogical stuff (hence my deep hatred for religion too) but nothing on this planet irritates me more than making shit difficult for the sake of making shit difficult. I think the imperial system is moronic. It pisses me off how stupid it actually is. But hey, I'm just me. a foot might be 30.48 cms but its exactly 12 inches ;-) get back to the good old days - Everyone knows what a pint of beer is........no one knows what a litre of beer is When I say I weigh 12 st everyone knows how much that is.....no one knows how much 76 kgs is When i say 3 pounds of spuds everyone knows how much that is......1.5 kgs anyone?? I'm 5ft 11 not 180 cms A marathon is still 26.2 miles last time I checked and the speed limit here on motorways is 70 mph and lastly but most importantly I have a 9 inch cock not a 22.5 cm cock ;-) Not that I'd expect someone from Australia to understand ;-)
  17. That FB pic looks computer generated....really bad. new album will be a goodie tho I reckon.

    Poor Grammar

the only thing which annoys me is the new verb 'to of' ie.......i should of bought that cd when it was cheap.......... Ahhhh
  19. hey dont knock imperial........nothing wrong with that ;-)
  20. With that drum sound, this song sounds like a successor to Night is on fire from Spirit, rather than the more Def Leppard orientated Animal attraction album. That said, all their albums sound like Reckless Love, and that is all that matters. Yep agree - sounds like Spirit vibe to me. Like it dont love
  21. Mmm Dr Feelgood is massively overrated. In fact Motley Crue in general are.
  22. Million are such a patchy band, never held onto any if their CDs. Millennium's Hourglass is a classic tho! How'd it rate? Both Milleniums are excellent. Million are bog average imo. And then there is Bulletproof Messenger............stonkingly great album I tell you what doods, I thought exactly the same about Millenium as both of you. I put them into the stereo expecting big scores. But jeez I walked away amazed at how some of the stuff I thought was so great in 1999-2001 really ain't that great. I absolutely love Santollo's sound and prefer the Monarch album tenfold. The Millenium albums scored a 75% and 73% respectively, which is fine... but not the kind of stuff that makes my anus dance. the thing about those Millenium albums, is that the best songs are excellent, but there is filler on both albums, so I wouldnt expect a mega high score....having said that mid-70s seems a tad harsh, I would expect 80-85% for both.
