Fight Fire With Rain 6 6. Heartbeat 6,5 7. Electric Lights 7 8. Ghost Inside My Heart 7 9. Red Lights 5 10. We Rise 5 11. Only You 6,5 Looks about right. Decent melodic songs mullered by weak vocals.
  2. Youll 'own' everything tho for a few quid a month.
  3. I cant see cds being gone in 5 yrs. No way. Downloads have been around for ages and its hardly affected cds imo. Yeah for sure there will be a slow down in demand and a shift towards digital but we gotta be talking more like 10-15 yrs. Maybe theres something around the corner to replace downloads?? Personally i see vast quantities of people just streaming using apple etc - thats gonna increase big time over the next 18 months cos all iphone purchases will come with the option to just expand your contract to include streaming.
  4. I was complete opposite....really average song but great vid - i love shit like that lol
  5. All songs are on you tube. It is ballad heavy. Edge of a dream sounds like the best rocker to me. Most of the rockers sound like Nickelback albeit more accomplished. The ballads do sound like Hinder but not sure i want another ballad heavy album? Will have to listen through in more detail before deciding on a purchase. Whats the deal with Southern Sons then - are they recording more??
  6. Sounds v good but i fear it might be ballad heavy. Will check out itune samples.
  7. I like him he was excellent the 2 times ive seen Nightranger. Defo one to check out.
  8. 3 will shine in 1999 Steelhouse Lane Metropolis Millenium All 3 are essential
  9. Nice to see some love for Script. Remains one of my fav albums.
  10. .........could be a bleak 6 months though :-(
  11. yeah there's a good reason for that.........July has been pants. A few I'm looking forward to - Praying Mantis Iron Maiden Art Nation Ozone (although initial excitement somewhat dampened by first 3 samples being only OK) Stryper (not sure about first single though??) Winery Dogs (hopefully they can surpass the excellent debut) Dan Reed Network (think this will still be 2015) Wigelius (hoping.............) Safetysuit (hoping...........)
  12. Yes. I am going on the Saturday only. Not due to band selection, but because that's the only day I can make. Should be good to see Care of Night, Vega and Dan Reed Network. Also interested to see Peterik live as have never seen him before - hopefully he will have some guest singers and a Survivor heavy set :-)
  13. I'm sure Jon won't be losing any sleep over the fact that I'm probably never going to buy another Bon Jovi album - what irritates me is that he seems to be turning his back on the people who made him and his band a success in the first place. It would be idiotic to suggest that he should be penning material that sounds like it came from the late 80s but, equally, it has to be acknowledged that there are plenty of bands out there who are managing to keep both old AND new fans happy by maintaining links to their past without sounding dated. What bands exactly? Are you talking about small niche bands in our tiny genre? BJ are still a worldwide phenomenon, with 99% of their fans loving everything they do, including recent albums. For example - in my office there are loads of BJ fans (all of which have never heard of nor are interested in any of the bands that I listen to) - Facts - 1. None of them own the debut or 7800F 2. Most of the older ones got into BJ when SWW was released 3. 99% of BJ fans are like the guys in my office 4. 99% of fans are happy with BJs change in direction / sound and think its the best thing since sliced bread and harp on about what a wonderful diverse artist he is 5. 99% of BJ fans only listen to the music and couldnt really give a stuff who's on guitar..........as long as it sound alright. 6. 99% of BJ fans think BJ is the band Capiche??
  14. We Dont Run sounds pretty good to me.
  15. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L4U44RMPIVI Only my opinion and all that, but this song is dreadful. What a snoozefest! Good job its not on the the album then ;-)
  16. Nice! Those 2 samples sound great. Looking at the track listing have they left off 'Leave in all Behind'?? Brave move - thats a great track. High hopes the rest of the album is better then.
  17. Me too. KTF probably only has about 5 truly great songs i reckon.
  18. Glen

  19. I agree. Never have warmed to his voice.
