  1. That's pretty amazing. What's Mark Evans doing these days? Just Heaven's Edge songs, or is he still making new music? Mark is doing both... still playing local clubs with his solo stuff and doing a few Heaven's Edge shows. I assume this show will be him doing mostly Heaven's Edge tunes. If Firehouse are headlining (which they most probably are), you can get an early night lol ;-) Awful live imo - prepare for guitar solos and the dreaded drum solo..................and zero connection with the crowd :-(
  2. I saw this band on the Powertrippin tour years ago and the gig was immense. Not only great songs, but flaming guitars and dancing whores. What more could you want ;-)
  3. Rockingham in 2 weeks time.............looking forward to seeing the following - Dan Reed Network Jim Peterik (never seen him before could be cool as he doing a Survivor set) Vega Care of Night
  4. yeah and what exactly was 'the man with no eyes'?? got the meaning of the song but that chorus lyric always confused me..............
  5. Really? I thought is was kinda OK, but nothing special. Hoping there is a lot better on the album.
  6. Not listened to all the samples, but I heard 'No Control' on Facebook and it's awesome imo.
  7. Def Leppard. Yep, I agree. Only three worth caring about in that list. Mmm i might check it out but not much hope for DL. Lead single was weak imo.
  8. I'm only really interested in Find Me, Khymera and Cats in Space........cheap last 3 months of 2015 for me then lol !! Will we get DRN as well in 2015? I know they were starting the album??
  9. WASP will now comfortably take that 10th spot, although where it will fall, I do not know yet. Not listened to Winery Dogs yet.
  10. You lot are being kind. Sounds boring and uninspired to me :-(
  11. Agreed and judging by the sampler the rest will be worse than the Soto album lol. No actually that first Allen tune sounded cool. But the best sounds bog average to me.
  12. All of those versions are shit imo. But come on Geoff....dont diss Panther - they can achieve anything. The lyrics would have to change of course lol.
  13. Maybe but it feels like im listening to the same song. I refer Miss You i think....lyrically.
  14. Its great. My only criticism is that 'Miss You' and 'Golgotha' are way too similar. Both awesome but both the same?
  15. Well the band name pretty much gives it away eh? ;-) I think it must be the lack of daylight or something, but there are 3 'happy' bands from Finland who buck the trend......... Reckless Love Brother Firetribe Lovex The others should make more of an effort eh??!! Oh yeah, I forget Reckless Love are Finnish because they are so very much the opposite to all the others. Maybe they are Swedes in disguise....... Dude sung for a Swedish band so I guess enough of it rubbed off on him. Just like I'd like to rub off on his abs. Uh, I mean the sun is nice and cars and trucks crush things. those abs are photo shopped........... I'm so happy I could die... I think Negative used that lyric on every song across all 5 albums. Well, my beloved (and pretty fucking annoying) laptop is fucked at the moment, so I have potentially lost a huge chunk of my album registry (where I'm rating all my albums). And I can't cut and paste recent conquests, but I've been jamming to: rest of the Nelson discography Newman discography first half of the Night Ranger discography I haven't scored a song a 10/10 more instantly than I did Night Ranger's 'Four in the morning' since I rated the Cauterize albums. By fuck that song is sheer genius perfection. One of my all-time all-time faves. yep i have to agree that '4 in the morning' is great......with the pre-chorus probably being my fav part. but then there are quite a few NR songs i'd rate 10.......... Four in total. 'Forever all over again' 'Last chance' and 'I did it for love' round out the four. really? Is that all............ Just off top off my head and without listening I could image these hitting 10 - Love is Standing Near (prob my fav Nightranger song) When You Close Your Eyes (2nd fav) 4 in the morning (3rd fav) Sentimental Street I Know Tonight Restless Kind Sing Me Away at a bare minimum i'd say............lots of others would be 9-9.5 as well.
  16. love the album - every song is great imo.
