Very, very true. In fact, the more melodic stuff that people continually seem to call "typical JSS,' off the top of my head, I'm pretty sure it actually makes up the minority of his body of work. That why his body of work is so interesting and appeals to such a wide audience. Something for everyone.

Agreed, if u wanna do that throw on a bonus CD on a new album. Yep, that's what I was saying! It is impossible to improve anything off Fireworks or Point Blank. Completely pointless and quite disrespectful I think.

Never mentioned the HEAT ballad but piano ballads rarely work....just pointless really. In fact most ballads are pointless unless they are are about an unusual subject...then they can be cool.

Yep i get exposed to it all the time...basically just play my daughters stuff in the car. My fav this year - although its not a new tune is..... Katy Perry - Hummingbird Heartbeat. Its just brilliant - would love to hear a band like WoA cover it with a rock edge.

Then I suggest you go and hear the whole thing then, as it is a brilliant disc, No weak links at all and some killer tracks and certainly no more cheesier than anything else I've heard in this genre for the last 10 years. Do yourself a favour and check it out, as for me personally, this is one of the best AOR discs I have heard this year (although to be fair there hasn't been that many good ones ).as for which is better, this or Khymera!! Find Me wins that battle by a good couple of notches Not too common a thing mate, but I actually agree with all that you say there. There have only been a couple of little negative comments about this album on the forum but they're already annoying me. Stupid stuff suggesting this somehow isn't worth hearing compared to other similar (and in my opinion, vastly inferior) releases. It's a good 'un, no doubt about it. Today; Find Me - Dark Angel Santa Cruz - Santa Cruz Khymera - The Grand Design Station - Station Revolution Saints - Revolution Saints The Toi - Water Into Wine Yeah ok whatever. What i heard sounded more cheesy than the debut. And that was full tracks on you tube not just samples. I will check it out tho.
