Folks, I've noticed recently that on alot of the CD submissions, people aren't bothering to capitalize the first letters in each word of the CD's song titles. PLEASE do this! If you don't, whoever is adding the CD to the database has to manually go through and capitalize them, and this consumes ALOT of time. *Also, please capitalize the first letters in the band members names as well (don't worry about instruments), as again, if it's not done, whoever is adding the CD, must manually fix it. Please remember this for future submissions; thanks! Mike

Went with "other"; the best covers album I've heard recently is hands down Axel Rudi Pell's "Diamonds Unlocked". If you're going to do a covers album, this is the way it should be done.

The first time I popped "Sweet Trade" in, I was admittedly a bit disappointed (I was expecting A LOT from their sophomore effort), but after several plays, I'm really beginning to enjoy it now. I guess that classifies this one as a grower for me. I really don't understand where the comments that this release is heavier than "Metal Will Stand Tall" are coming from; if anything, it's a touch lighter, and yes, more melodic overall than the first one. At this point, I gotta say I actually prefer this one to MWST. *Something I noticed when reading the comments for "Sweet Trade" on the main site was that not one person has mentioned "Shine", which in my opinion is easily the stand out track; an absolutely beautifully done song! A very nice way to end the CD! Mike

UPDATE: Received my order in today's mail; oddly enough, it was postmarked Sept. 19th, the same day I emailed and threatened them with the charge back... I'm done with Impulse... you should be able to get email responses and not have to resort to threats to get the merchandise you've ordered from ANY company. Mike

I feel your pain man... I have been ordering from Impulse for the last 3-4 years, and had never had a problem, until recently that is. I placed an order for 4 recent releases back on August 13th, and as of today, after many emails, and several calls that like yours have gone unanswered, I still do not have my order. I finally got an email reply from them earlier this week when I told them I was going to initiate a charge back via my Visa card (funny how quickly that got their attention), and supposedly they have now shipped my order for a second time (I don't believe that for a second). If I don't have the CDs by this upcoming Thursday, I'm nailing 'em. As it stands, I won't be ordering from them again; now the only question is if they get hit with a $25.00 charge back fee for my order. Mike
