  1. http://www.watchingjericho.com/rumor-tnt-m...ick-up-jericho/ Interesting....
  2. While I prefer the self-titled release, No Strings Attached is a very good effort from Slash Puppet, and the songs contained on it, actually pre-date the self titled release by 4 years. You can hear samples of all the tunes here: http://www.nehrecords.com/shop/SlashNo.htm#SCR015 And here's some background on the release: http://www.suncityrecords.com/main.php?pag...h%20Puppet.html Slash Puppet Next up, the news only gets better for all the deprived fans of quality 80's hard rock with another A grade signing. In Suncity Record's quest to scour the globe for the best of what hard rock has to offer, we have definitely hit the jackpot!! Stopping by the beautiful country of Canada. We have been lucky enough to secure Canada's finest hard rock band Slash Puppet and we are all so excited that this great band have joined the Suncity family in the pursuit of keeping the flame alight. Most people know Slash Puppet for their stunning 1993 self-titled release but what a lot of people don't know is that they had an awesome debut album they released in 1989 as a cassette only issue. Suncity Records will be presenting their classic debut with all the typical Suncity perks. Once again, this album has been going for top dollar on Ebay and for a very good reason. Slash Puppet's major features are great attitude, massive gang backing vocals, excellent production and an awesome image. You couldn't really ask for more in a hard rock release. After well over a year trying to hunt down the masters, with many leads from many people, we have finally got lucky big time!! These classic recordings will be presented in their full glory and believe me, they sound better than ever. Better news yet, this CD will be released early 2007. I was never lucky enough to see Slash Puppet live in concert but from all reports they really ripped it up, with a stage show that had more energy than a nuclear power plant. When it comes to the music, think Skid Row, Britny Fox, think fellow Canadians Smash L.A., Slik Toxik, Sweden's finest Swedish Erotica, even the great Polish outfit, Lessdress. Vocalist Mif's attitude will jump out of your speakers, grab you by the scruff of the throat and wack you over the head from the very first second of the very first track: Slash Puppet - Evil Woman

  4. I think this post from Dan deserves to be visited again, since some of the recent Spanish comments on the main site have been for bands that did their albums in Spanish (Sangre Azul) and/or bands that are actually from Spain (91 Suite). It's perfectly suitable for those discs to be commented on in Spanish.
  5. Ok..... so THAT'S why Tom told Kate that she wasn't his type...
  6. http://www.myspace.com/saintsoftheunderground http://www.warriorrecords.com/saintsoftheunderground/ I am really enjoying these samples! ----------------------------------------------------------------- Saints Of The Underground, created by members of mega-groups Ratt, Warrant, and Alice Cooper, will be impacting in April with their debut CD entitled, "Love the Sin, Hate the Sinner." Formed by Bobby Blotzer (Ratt's drummer) and Keri Kelli (guitarist for Alice Cooper), Saints Of The Underground quickly recruited Jani Lane (Warrant vocalist) and Robbie Crane (Ratt's bassist) to fill out their roster. Separately these accomplished musicians have achieved multi-platinum successes, but together they have pooled their talents into an exciting new sound that fuses killer hooks, big guitars, and rock-n-roll attitude. "With more than six decades of combined experience, S.O.T.U. represents classic hard rock with current elements of today rock genre," said Keri Kelli. The formation of Saints Of The Underground happened quite unexpectedly, as the four musicians started out playing cover tunes together for fun during off times from their respective super groups. They so enjoyed their chemistry that the band naturally evolved into a creative partnership through which original songs began to emerge. "For me, S.O.T.U. was like when a Monty Python skit stops abruptly and you hear a voice over say, 'and now for something completely different'," commented Jani Lane. "I was in a very slow and boring rut when I got a call from the guys. It really got the creative juices flowing again...and some other juices too!" S.O.T.U. decided to capture an array of material entering Bobby Blotzer's Diamond Recording Studios in Texas to track drums and bass, while also overdubbing guitars and vocals at Keri Kelli's studio in California. "We were psyched to start recording together," commented Blotzer, "and we each brought something special to the songs." The result is their debut CD, "Love The Sin, Hate The Sinner," written and produced by Bobby, Keri, and Jani Lane. "We had the opportunity to mix our record with Andy Johns of [The Rolling] Stones and [Led] Zeppelin fame," said Lane. "He was an English prince and we had a blast working together." Their debut CD has already been generating buzz from the industry featuring enough heavy grooves, hooks, and memorable melodies to satisfy even the most demanding rock-n-roll aficionados. Tracks like "Dead Man Shoes," "All In How You Wear It," "Signs Of Life," and a mesmerizing version of the Rolling Stones classic, "Moolight Mile," have this debut rocking along to a familiar yet distinctive beat that is sure to please fans, both old and new. ---------------------------

  8. There may have been a body in the casket, but it probably wasn't who it was supposed to be, if ya get my drift.... again, Kate seemed very non chalant about not attending.... But then again, it could wind up that the entire fate of Oceanic 815 surrounds whoever it was or wasn't in the casket.... that's what I love about this show and its writers, you just never know.
  9. Absolutely. Ben could easily have fake documents made to reflect himself as one of passengers; all he'd have to do is pick out one of the crash victims who had little or no family, and assume their identity.... I'm going to say that Michael/Kevin isn't long for this, or any other, world...
  10. Hmm.... I don't really miss Jin, because I don't think he's really dead. After watching last night's episode, I must amend my thoughts on the whole "who's in the casket" theory. I no longer believe it to be Michael (not because he returned as Kevin Johnson last night) but because I think the casket we saw at the end of last season contained............. NOONE. It was simply a memorial service for one of the other passengers from Oceanic Flight 815 who was local to Jack and Kate. Whoever it is, is still trapped back on the island, and that's why when Jack asked Kate, "Did you go?" she replied with "why would I go?" She knew the person wasn't really dead, so she saw no reason to go just maintain the Oceanic Six's "story" I also believe that Sun was crying last night, not because Jin is dead, but because he remains stuck on the island of the damned... That also kinda explains the comments between Sun and Hurley when he asked "Anyone else coming?", she replied with "No", and he said "Good". It's easier for Hurley to maintain the lie with fewer members of the Oceanic Six around. The Oceanic Six: Jack, Kate, Hurley, Sun, Sayid, & Ben (probably under the assumed name/identity of one of the actual crash victims)
  11. Was it just me, or was the moment Stanley pulled the trigger last night one of the most satisfying TV moments in a long time?
  12. For anyone interested, here are the Lindsay Lohan nudes from New York magazine:
  13. As soon as Kate's lawyer mentioned that they needed to bring "him" into the courtroom as a show of her character, and she said that she didn't want her son to be part of this, I just knew it was Aaron. That exchange wouldn't have made quite as much sense if it were her own child, but, if she had become mother for a child whose own mother could no longer care for it.... it made perfect sense. Some random thoughts/questions... Anyone else wondering why someone hasn't caught Locke off guard and just whipped the immortal dogshit outta him? I think both Claire and Juliette are hotter than Kate. I'm still thinking that it's going to be Michael in the casket What's Penny been up to since speaking with Charlie? Scouring the Earth looking for Desmond I would hope... Ahh... I love this show.
  14. Not going to post any spoilers til after the west coast airing, but who else had the big swerve figured out about midway through the episode?
  15. Yep, they work, and they are quite good IMO.
  16. Enjoyed the episode from last night... it made alot of sense the way they moved the storyline forward, especially considering they only had 7 episodes to do their second season. I just wish more people were tuning in: http://tvbythenumbers.com/2008/02/13/niels...il-jericho/2658 Still, anyone who missed the episode can watch it here: http://www.cbs.com/primetime/jericho/video...y=true&cc=3
  17. Hmm... my guess on who the Oceanic Six are: Jack Hurley Kate <--- the first 3 are obvious Sawyer Michael (I also believe he's who was in the casket) Walt I believe at some point, these 6 are going to be faced with a choice; take your opportunity to leave the island NOW, or stay and help all your friends...and of course, they made the wrong choice, and now can not live with themselves. I found it interesting that Hurley was able to see "Jacob" Is Oceanic Air actually intertwined with the island's dark secret? Damn good episode...a damn shame we're only going to get 8 of 'em this season...
