  1. Go figure...... Interesting that he says they got all the CDs.... apple222 has left no feedback relating to this auction for "woodmccorner", and look at the feedback that woodmccorner left for apple222 on March 29th: http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...94147355&de=off Excellent Ebayer......Box #1 is on the way, Box #2 shipped on 3/29/07....Thanks So, on the 29th, Box 1 was on the way, and the second box had just shipped....but he's already gotten all the CDs.... hot damn the USPS musta kicked some ass on those packages!
  2. A good friend of mine pointed this auction out to me this morning: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...em=170094147355 Boy....it sure looks like a certain someone we know selling that lot of CDs....
  3. Well, as far as the shipping, you really can't gripe too much, as his auction clearly says: "we will ship anywhere in the world, shipping costs vary." If I'm interested in a CD, and the seller has not specified an exact shipping price to my country, I always contact them prior to bidding and ask them what shipping would be to my address; keeps situations like this from arising. If the seller hasn't given you a negative for not paying yet, I'd suggest forgetting about it...and just hope he does the same.
  4. 1984....year of the RATT, and some Rokken with Dokken!
  5. Yep; I've bought from and sold to Chris quite a few times over the last few years, and have never had a problem on either end...good fella. Mike
  6. My condolences to Sam, Aaron, and family; very sorry to hear about your father guys. Mike
  7. Starting with Lorraine "Boys Nite Out" which was totally booted and then slowly sold as rare indies from 1992 when they were actually printed in 2005. Should I spill the beans on who did that? I'd think there would be several people on this board who paid HUNDREDS of dollars for a Lorraine bootleg that would be VERY interested to know where they came from Sam.... do tell.
  8. I can't believe noone used the Buy-It-Now and took advantage of that FREE SHIPPING!
  9. You can add Music Buy Mail to the "owed" list as well. Something I noticed this morning, look at what page you get when you try to go to the RnR website now: http://www.freewebs.com/lrc72316/ This Site is Frozen Visiting the site? "just in case"
  10. BrianJ and Christine both mentioned that they had gotten some form of refund; just curious, are they still showing as "pending" or did they go through? Mike
  11. Ok, so you say you weren't behind it...then exactly what the hell are you doing as far as pursuing these "Ramiriez Brothers" ? Plus, if you have any proof whatsoever to support your claims from above, why would you be refunding a damn thing? You should be living and breathing at the Blytheville Police Dept. filing reports on what has happened to you, and trying to re-coup your and everyone else's money...
  12. Quick question to everyone reading this thread right now....did anyone else who had pre-ordered the Hurricane CDs get a refund (even if it shows as pending) and a message similar to the one that Brian did? Mike
  13. Yup, I noticed that too. Look at his ID: http://heavyharmonies.ipbhost.com/index.php?showuser=794 He's been inactive (hasn't clicked on a new thread or posted anything) for over 15 minutes, so he disappeared from the list of active users... You can look at ANYONE'S ID, even if they sign in anonymously, and see when they were last active. He might still be typing right now. Mike
  14. I spoke with Ryan earlier today, and like the rest of us, he is having a hard time believing all this as well. Basically, after seeing Lon's post regarding Banshee, Ryan got Lonnie on the phone to discuss the matter. (Tommy Lee Flood & Ryan have been friends for years, and have been discussing re-issuing the Banshee stuff for a while) He told Ryan that he was approached by someone to reissue “The Cry In The Night” ep. Lonnie had no contract in place and easily agreed to drop the idea; end of story there. Later on, Lon asked Ryan if he could carry MM releases and proceeded to order 60 CD’s from Ryan to sale on the RnR Records site. Ryan sent the cd’s to him with 30 day terms based on Lon's word that he would pay. It looks like Ryan was taken as well! The odd thing regarding Ryan/Metal Mayhem is that Lon never asked him if he wanted to purchase any of the Hurricane re-issues...which is great for Ryan, as he would have probably ordered 500 of each straight away.... Mike
  15. I'm sorry Dan...I just don't believe it anymore...... I agree JL, to me whether the accident is true, doesn't really matter, the fact is that all the reissue talk is just a big fat lie, I mean his famed Hurricane reissues that he was always talking about, obviously are horseshit, according to mike who talked with Jay, who also confirmed with Kelly Hansen, so everything else may or maynot be true, he should have named his label, NEVER GET YOUR SHIT RECORDS! lol.... Yep, Jay Schellen verified that he and Kelly had NO idea about any re-issue of the Hurricane discs... Billy Squier was left out of the loop on his re-issue, and Andrew from MelodicRock.com seems fairly certain that the Valentine re-issue is bogus too... Has anyone out there contacted Shaun Andree from Frontrunner to see if the Frontrunner releases are bunk too? http://www.shaunandree.com I would, but I'm at work right now, and I'm gonna get yelled at for being online so much today as it is... Mike
  16. It certainly would be nice to hear from Ryan on this matter...particularly considering that the Metal Mayhem page is still intact at the RnR website: http://www.freewebs.com/lrc72316/cdsinstock.htm As I asked a few pages back, I wonder if Ryan hass been ripped off in some manner as well? Mike
  17. The RnR website is being worked on this morning! Check it out at: http://www.freewebs.com/lrc72316/index.htm The ARTISTS, NEW SIGNINGS, & PRE_ORDER SPECIALS links now all take you to a page that says... SITE UPDERGOING UPDATE PLEASE CHECK BACK SOON!!!!!!!!!!!!
  18. There's a page full of Metal Mayhem releases listed on the site as well: http://www.freewebs.com/lrc72316/cdsinstock.htm I wonder if Ryan was possibly ripped off in some manner too?
  19. Indeed; I think subconciously that's why I didn't order anything from him...I was waiting for the glowing reports from other members to come pouring in before I sent the ol $$$ his way. Also, something else to note about the RnR Records website...if you look around on it, you'll find NO contact info of any kind. NO email address, NO mailing address, NOTHING. The only thing there is the automated Pay Pal process set-up to take in the $$$ www.freewebs.com/lrc72316 Mike
  20. "Lonnie Holdaway" isn't exactly a common name; if he's been using an alias, he's been using it for quite a while: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&client=...%22&btnG=Search As you can see if you visit the above link, he is listed as a Blytheville High School alum from 1984-1988 on Classmates.com Also, this article: http://209.85.165.104/search?q=cache:X7kmW...lient=firefox-a dates back to 1998 Plus, he's on 411.com: http://www.411.com/10668/log_feature/pers_...a_listing=mixed His name is either really Lonnie Holdaway, or the real Lon Holdaway passed away, and someone else has been using his name. Mike
  21. All I can suggest is that if you feel like you've been taken on your dealings with RnR Records, file a Pay Pal claim, and see what happens. To be honest, I'm so stunned by this revelation, that I'm really speachless at the moment.... M.
  22. OK folks..... first, let me say that over the last few years, my dealings with Lon were always pleasant, and he has never been anything other than a stand up guy. If you are laying in a hospital somewhere Lon, I'm still praying for ya bud. Now, that's where the good stuff has to end. I just received the following email from Jay Schellen, former drummer for Hurricane, when I emailed him to ask him how everything was going in regards to the Hurricane re-issues: Hey Michael, Thanks for bringing this to my attention. This is a scam to get Hurricane Fans $$$!!!! I just spoke to Kelly and we both know nothing of this let alone quotes from backstage!! Tell everyone you know this is a scam. Kelly and I are going to get our people on this ASAP--Thanks again for the heads up, you're a bro!----J ----------------------------- I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news folks, but something VERY bad is going on here. Mike
