  1. Listening to this one while working on the main site this afternoon; good stuff! A more metallic version of what Jaded Heart were doing before Bormann left back in the 00s...
  2. Second single and title track, "Hellbound" Love it! Total tribute to AC/DC
  3. Listening to this one in the car today... pretty damn good. There is some Tesla influence, which is to be expected, but overall, just good, solid hard rock. "Rise Up" and "KSA" are faves...
  4. Ooh, that's a good one; I actually think it may be my favorite from them yet! I Am Your Man, Broken Dreams, Long Distance Love Affair, and Chasing Rainbows are faves.
  5. I’ve got that Myles Kennedy in order! 👍
  6. The following was posted on the Megadeth Facebook page earlier today: More of the story at: https://ultimateclassicrock.com/megadeth-fire-dave-ellefson/ Megadeth have officially parted ways with bassist Dave Ellefson following the leak of sexually graphic exchanges between Ellefson and a female fan. “We are informing our fans that David Ellefson is no longer playing with Megadeth and that we are officially parting ways with him," band leader Dave Mustaine wrote in a statement shared on social media Monday. "We do not take this decision lightly.” “While we do not know every detail of what occurred, with an already strained relationship, what has already been revealed now is enough to make working together impossible moving forward,” Mustaine continued. “We look forward to seeing our fans on the road this summer, and we cannot wait to share our brand new music with the world. It is almost complete.” Earlier this month, sexually explicit messages and video footage involving Ellefson and a woman who is not his wife were leaked online. The female’s identity was not revealed, but she was rumored to be underage, leading to accusations of grooming against the 56-year-old Ellefson. Ellefson denied the allegations and released a statement in which he referred to the leaked exchanges as “private, adult interactions that were taken out of context and manipulated to inflict maximum damage to my reputation my career and family." The bassist paired his statement with a post that appeared to be from the woman involved in the exchange, who claimed that she “was the one to initiate” the video calls and “was always a consenting adult” when they took place. She added that she was “not a victim, and I have not been groomed in the slightest.” "We are aware of the recent statements regarding David Ellefson and are watching developments closely,” Megadeth said in a statement immediately following the leaks. "As it relates to creativity and business, we are all familiar with one another. However, there are clearly aspects of David's private life that he has kept to himself. As this situation unfolds, it is important that all voices be heard clearly and respectfully. We look forward to the truth coming to light." Ellefson cofounded Megadeth with Mustaine in 1983 and spent the second-longest amount of time in the band behind Mustaine. His first tenure lasted from 1983 to 2002, when Mustaine disbanded the group. Ellefson rejoined the band in 2010 and has played on all subsequent Megadeth albums. Megadeth will have to fill Ellefson’s position quickly, as they are set to embark on their rescheduled Metal Tour of the Year in August. Lamb of God will co-headline the trek, with support from Trivium and In Flames. Former Lamb of God drummer Chris Adler played on Megadeth’s last album, 2016’s Dystopia. The band is reportedly nearly finished with its next LP, tentatively titled The Sick, the Dying … and the Dead!

What started out as a solo project quickly turned in to something bigger. Denny set out to record a fun hard rock album that you just don’t hear much of these days. Once the E.P. was released, people started to take an interest, so it was time to put a band together to bring the songs to life. “I reached out to HighVolMusic owner Bill Chavis and he must have liked what he heard because here we are. THRILL RIDE is excited to join the HVM Family! We are looking forward to working with everyone and unleashing the new record on the world.” says Denny. THRILL RIDE is a culmination of rock n’ roll laced with influences of various styles. It’s a throwback to yesterday yet captures the current rock sounds of today. The current single ‘Did I Hear You Say’ peaked in the top 10 on 97 Underground in Baltimore.
  10. Duran Duran - "INVISIBLE" Duran Duran's new single, INVISIBLE is out now: https://DuranDuran.lnk.to/Invisibleyv 🎧 PUT YOUR HEADPHONES ON to listen in immersive 360 Reality Audio 🎧 The new album FUTURE PAST is available October 22nd. Pre-order/save: https://DuranDuran.lnk.to/FuturePastyv -- The video for the band’s new single, ‘INVISIBLE’, from their forthcoming album, ‘FUTURE PAST’, was created by an Artificial Intelligence called Huxley, a unique dreamer whose ‘mind’ has been modeled after the cognitive and emotional processes of humans. It is the very first collaboration of its kind, between artists in different planes of existence. “INVISIBLE” was mixed with an immersive #360RA experience in mind, use headphones for the full effect. Huxley was developed by Nested Minds Solutions Producers: Collector Productions, Wendy Laister, and Linc Gasking Editor: Marcus Eriksson --------------------------- This does sound really good on headphones. I like the song, but it's like they go from the verse, to a bridge, and a true chorus never really kicks in...
  11. The second best thing from the movie, the first being Jessica Alba...
  12. Well, the unthinkable has happened (for me anyway); Michael Sweet has released something that I just do not like. I've listened to Evil and Divine continuously since it's arrival in my mailbox Friday, and I can not find anything at all to get excited about... I've finally given up and pulled it from my CD player a few mins ago. Tracii Guns production leaves alot to be desired as well, and I'm not someone who's normally put off by less than stellar production.
  13. There's a soundbite on the site now for I suppose a song called "In a World That Will Explode"
  14. From TMZ.com: Tawny Kitaen, the actress who starred in "Bachelor Party" and whose personal life was filled with radical ups and downs, has died ... TMZ has learned. Kitaen died in Newport Beach Friday. The coroner has yet to determine cause of death. Kitaen, whose credits include 'The Perils of Gwendoline' and "After Midnight," was a precocious child who got the showbiz bug at 14, when she saw Peter Frampton at Balboa Stadium in San Diego. She got a backstage pass and saw the All-Access VIP treatment Peter's GF, Penny, received, and that was it. She was hooked. Tawny started out on a game show back in 1976 -- "To Tell the Truth." She migrated into movies and achieved some success with her roles, especially "Bachelor Party." And, Tawny famously was featured in some music videos, notably Whitesnake's "Is This Love," and "Here I Go Again." Kitaen dated Ratt guitarist Robbin Crosby while she was still in high school and even followed his band to L.A. in the late '70s. She was featured on the album cover of the band's album "Out of the Cellar" and their debut EP "Ratt." Tawny's personal life was rocky. She married Whitesnake's lead singer, David Coverdale, back in 1989, but the marriage only lasted 2 years. She went on to marry baseball star Chuck Finley -- with whom she had 2 daughters -- and the end of that relationship proved disastrous. Finley claimed she repeatedly kicked him in the face with her high heels and she was charged with domestic violence. Those charges were later dismissed. He filed for divorce 3 days later. She also had substance abuse issues and was arrested for drug possession and DUI ... which was well-chronicled in the media. Tawny was 59. RIP
  15. Saw this late last night right at bedtime and didn’t want to post, as it was unverified, but it appears that Tawny Kitaen has passed away. 😔 RIP Tawny
  16. Super God, Tumblin' Dominoes, and It's Not the End are the highlights for me.... the rest is very "meh" unfortunately. At least those three tracks are pretty damn good though.
