  2. Round 2 posted this morning: After making the white album i bottomed out. I started making my own methamphetamine & eventually tried to kill myself. I ended up in a great program that helped me rebuild my life and deal with issues id had since a boy. Once i had finnished and found my spirit again and began writing new songs, i tried to post one and recieved a notice that i was violating trademark law and that i was no longer able to use the name i invested every drop of blood sweat and mostly tears into ( enuff znuff) i was devestated. The integrity of that name was built on my music, lyrics & voice. ( i say built on cause i dont assume credit for others hard work) but my contribution was exactly the same contribution that i contribute to my records now. You can hear any records with DonnieVie vs without ! Pretty clear cut n dry what i did in the band. But thats my best answer to your question about the ownership. There was no discussion, no agreement, no arrangement. Just took it and has been using it along with my songs to make a living, do business deals with, have a wonderful time and in my eyes desecrate. He never could have gotten a deal or done any business with the record he and his current band made, nor be on cruises and in posts from all around the world standing there with his big peice of shit human being of a gtrst, both looking like something the cat dragged OUT, and smiling and saying look at me and how wonderful this all is. Someone recently sent me a shitty movie trailor, where in it enuff znuff comes alive out of a poster, and its his big ridiculous looking ass, as you hear the juno 6 pad from fly high michelle starts, then swoosh it is fly high michelle. Im like WHAT THE FUCK? then.... my vocals were removed and replaced with that awful sound that comes out of his mouth. Now go look at the name on that song. Unless thats now also among the many he has added his name to. How can some of you still defend that? Would you defend him( friend or not) if it was you on my end of this shit stick? Ya know what, ive got no secrets. Any pods or publications if you would like a nice juicy interview about deciebt and corruptions performed in the name of peace and brothery love, hit me up. ENOUGH ZNUFF
  3. This is taken directly from Donnie V's Facebook page; the grammar isn't the greatest, but you get the idea of what he's saying... https://www.facebook.com/DonnieVieOfficial/ The band that is calling themselves enuff znuff ( chip znuff ,and 3 other ?'s) has stolen the trademark and brandname built on the songwriting, lyrics and vocal style of myself. & while i was in rehab getting my health together. Its been fashioned so that only they can use it .It was without some agreement made with me, so now basically th hey can work using my integrity and i cant. You can listen to the new record they released by thr name, and you can listen to mine and judge for yourself who did what. Also many low level business deals are being done with my songs and likeness without my knowledge. When i find out, they are to insignificant to justify the cost of legal rep. However they add up and are parlay'd into other assets, so its like kaundering money only with songs and reputation. And my songs and reputation. Im asking for your help to put an end to this. These jokers are misleading you to believe the wrapper of the candy bar you love contains that candy. But its a pile of dog shit inside. Its not enuff znuff. And if i wanted to i would use the name but i wouldnt because its not. However its pretty fucking close minus the bass and the clown. So wouldnt it only be fair to say that " You fucking Scumbags either pay me for what your stealing and conning people to believe its my thing, or go build your own thing on your own merits like i have"? Sorry to be so negative, but i wouldnt stand for anyone doing this to any of you! Also i wrote these songs for you, so they are fucking you too. 💋❤✌Donnie
  4. From the official Dokken Facebook page: Earlier today a series of interviews were put out on music news websites regarding Don’s health and use of his hands... That interview came out in early January 2020. Don had neck and spinal surgery in early November 2019. There were some complications; Don’s right arm and hand were partially paralyzed as well as overall weakness in his body. Since that interview in January, Don is doing much better and his doctors do expect him to fully recover but it will take time. He does continue to have difficulty holding items and at this time is unable to play guitar, this does not affect his voice. That being said, there are no changes at this time to the upcoming show schedule. Don has been actively writing new music, is in great spirits, looks forward to the upcoming Dokken shows and greatly appreciates the outpouring of support. You can expect more great Dokken music and shows this year, just don’t expect somersaults! For more Dokken information please visit dokken.net or on Facebook and Twitter @dokken, Instagram @dokken_official or email Jessica Chase at officialdokkeninfo@gmail.com ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Here is the interview spoken of above: Don Dokken’s ‘Hands Are Dead’ After Spine Surgery A surgery on his spine has left Dokken frontman Don Dokken unable to use his hands. The singer recently appeared on the Classic Metal Show and broke the news. "It's been two and a half months since I had spine surgery, and my hands are dead," he said . "They don't move. It's very strange. It's an interesting way to live your life. You've gotta learn how to feed yourself, wipe your butt, brush your teeth, dress yourself. [It takes] 20 minutes to put socks on, 'cause one of my hands works a little bit, but not very much." He added that he's doing "physical therapy four days a week — on a bike, and I'm pedaling my ass off, building up my leg strength, building up my arms… What's left of my arms — my arms are completely atrophied. I don't know what's gonna happen with my whole hands situation. They're still paralyzed. So I think my guitar-playing days are obviously over. But that's okay. I got 50 years to play guitar." Dokken has 11 shows planned for 2020, with the first few taking place next month. Nine of the dates will feature former guitarist George Lynch, whose band Lynch Mob is opening, sitting in with the band during the encore. The singer is considering hiring a personal assistant to "basically babysit me. At least I can sing. My voice feels great. I just can't hold a microphone." He's been told that there's a possibility he can regain 30 percent of the use of his hands again, and he's hoping "that maybe some miracle will happen and slowly the nerves will reconnect and my hands will start working again. Or you're gonna hear about me in the newspaper, 'cause I'm gonna go to the [surgeon's] office and I'm gonna go over to the desk and I'm gonna pummel his face. And I'm serious. That guy fucked up. He was supposed to be the best of the best. "After they put me under, I said two things: 'Don't kill me. 'Don't paralyze me,'" he continued. "That's what I said. I swear to God. And he's, like, 'That's why you came to me. I'm the best.' So I wake up in the hospital, and I'm, like, 'How come my hands don't move?' 'How come my fingers don't move?' 'How come my hands are on fire?' 'How come I can barely walk? I'm on a walker. What the fuck did you do, man?' And he goes, 'Well, it happens sometimes.' I love it when surgeons go, 'Well, shit happens. It only happens in one of a thousand surgeries.' So I'm Mr. One Thousand, apparently. So, I'm not happy about it." https://ultimateclassicrock.com/don-dokken-spine-surgery/ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I really hope things have improved as much as Jessica says! Just a shitty situation all the way around; I understand Don's bitterness, but hopefully he's a little more positive now. Mike Photo by @morningstarphotos
  5. Indeed; at least he's on the new album. It'll be interesting down the road to hear what his departure does to the band's sound and if they maintain course stylistically or head off in a different direction (hopefully not!).

Got to watch the second game between LA and Houston; loved the pace of the game with the 25 second play clock, as well as how they handle the kickoffs (the video is from the first game):
  7. Guitar Virtuoso Richie Kotzen Celebrates Birthday With '50 for 50' Triple-Album Turning 50 is a momentous occasion for anyone, but for guitar virtuoso Richie Kotzen, it was a challenge — a challenge to record 50 songs by his 50th birthday. “I had a lot of material that I’d never released and didn’t know where it fit,” says Kotzen, who got the idea during a solo tour in 2019. “A huge portion [of the project] was songs I’d written but never finished — songs with guitar riffs and guide vocals and nothing else, or completed tracks with no lyrics. I went through them and thought, ‘When I get home, I’m going to start finishing them, and if I have 50 compositions that I love, I’ll put out a record on my 50th birthday to tie it all together.’ The reality is there’s way more than 50 and I had to stop myself before I lost my mind.” The highly ambitious task was successfully completed, and the result is the three-disc 50 For 50, which was released today -- Kotzen’s birthday -- via his own label, Headroom-Inc. The gifted multi-instrumentalist wrote, performed, sang and produced virtually every song. “I get in the studio and start throwing things around, and before I know it it’s done, and I’m the only musician involved. That’s just the way I work,” he says. Kotzen is likely best known for his stint in the glam-rock band Poison, replacing C.C. DeVille from 1991-1993 — and spent years trying to outrun the shadow of being in one of the biggest bands of the “hair metal” era. While casual fans may know him best as a hired-gun guitarist for the likes of Poison and Mr. Big, the prolific singer-songwriter has 22 solo albums under his belt (since debuting with the self-titled Richie Kotzen in 1989), including his latest. “During the late ’90s and early 2000s, being associated with Poison was a nightmare,” he admits, noting that most major labels had “moved on” to rap and alternative rock. “The labels had tunnel vision and couldn’t figure out how to market me. So it was a difficult time for me, not because I didn’t make a good record with Poison [1993’s Native Tongue], but because of the perception of the gatekeepers in the music business. They just couldn’t see past it. But once the technology changed and I could release music without a label, everything started to turn in my favor. Now I’m where I should be.” Indeed, 50 for 50 is a culmination of a 31-year career that weaves through Kotzen’s stylistic approach, incorporating traditional rock, progressive, soul, and plenty of guitar solos. A song that encapsulates the spirit of the album is the winding, seven-and-a-half-minute “Devil’s Hand.” The midtempo lead single, which features a three-minute guitar solo at the end, tackles loss and reflection. “The lyrics are pretty self-explanatory,” says Kotzen. “Sometimes you just get too caught up in yourself and your own desires and really mess things up. Instead of being happy with what you have and what you’ve accomplished, you create problems out of boredom or greed. I think a lot of people ruin really great things and don’t realize it until it’s too late.” In the video, which marks his directorial debut, Kotzen himself plays a down-and-out musician who remembers better days. “The video concept is what lead me to release this song first,” he says. “The song really tells a story, and in the last few minutes, it goes on such a journey compared with the typical approach of arranging a song.” Watch "Devil's Hand" below: While “Devil’s Hand” is one of the more traditional rock songs on 50 for 50, Kotzen’s influences run the gamut. He name-checks “shredders” Eddie Van Halen, Steve Vai and Steve Morse from the Dixie Dregs as guitar influences and Rod Stewart, Stevie Wonder, George Benson and Bad Company’s Paul Rodgers when it comes to singing. “But the singer who really changed everything for me,” he notes, “was Terence Trent D’Arby. When I heard [1987 debut] Introducing the Hard Line According to Terence Trent D’Arby, I just went crazy. I spent so much time listening to that record, and in my little makeshift studio I would try to copy every single thing he did back then.” That stylistic scope shines through on the album, although -- aside from recording 50 songs for 50 years -- there isn’t a musical or lyrical theme connecting the tracks. “It’s really about each composition as its own entity, and each has an important voice helping to define who I am as a recording artist,” he says. “My very first record didn’t even have vocals, so for this record, I found three pieces of instrumental music that focused mostly on the guitar. Then you have songs like ‘Devil’s Hand,’ which is more of what I am known for now. And in between kind of covers a lot of different elements, such as funk and R&B, that’ll make people go, ‘Oh yeah, I forgot Richie was about that.’ ” Now that 50 For 50 is complete, Kotzen hopes to start working on a new album with The Winery Dogs (which comprises him on guitar and lead vocals, Billy Sheehan of Mr. Big on bass and Mike Portnoy, formerly of Dream Theater, on drums). But for now, Kotzen will be taking his ambitious 50 For 50 project on the road in the United States, starting in mid-June, and then will head to Europe. When it comes to what he’ll be playing on tour, he says, “Like, oh my God, where do I begin? There’s so much stuff there. But I’m definitely going play songs from the new record mixed in with songs my fan base is already acquainted with.” There might even be a couple of Poison songs that Kotzen had a hand in writing, like “Stand” and “Until You Suffer Some (Fire and Ice).” “On my last tour, ‘Stand’ was a part of my set," he explains. W"e did it every night, and the crowd really responded by singing along. It’s one of my favorite songs, and there’s no reason not to play it. I don’t think Poison plays it, so I might as well.” https://www.billboard.com/articles/columns/rock/8549704/richie-kotzen-50-for-50-birthday-interview ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Just received this one in the mail today and starting to listen a bit. An overwhelming amount of new music at one time from a single artist, but I'm going to enjoy picking out the gems.
  8. From the Brother Firetribe Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/brotherfiretribeofficial/ TRIBESTERS! Emppu steps down from the active role as a guitarist of Brother Firetribe due to lack of time. Simple as that, no drama, no fuss. Everyone understands the magnitude of a beast called Nightwish and all of us want to see them go conquer the world. Or two. What a band. With that said, he’s still our brother, stays in the team and you can actually hear him do his magic on the new album too. We got extremely lucky with having Roope Riihijärvi to step in and save our asses from doing nothing which really wasn’t an option. This band is too much fun to stop now. On with the show, feel the burn!

  14. Anyone else going to take a stab? If not, we'll start the batting order over!
  15. Yep, and whoever goes next should have a 50/50 shot at putting DeVicious in the right spot. 👍

Hell on High Heels I love the entire 1994 self titled album with Corabi on vocals, but I kinda consider it a different beast, so I didn't include those songs here, as they would have dominated the list.
  19. While I was still buying lots of new music (cassette tapes! lol) at the time, I was watching alot less MTv... maybe that's why I don't really remember this one And then there was this one... banned back in the day due to its "graphic imagery and mature subject matter"...
  20. Thoroughly enjoy both songs they've released so far; hopefully this is a sign of things to come in 2020!
  21. When multiple people post spreading the word about the same band....
  22. From their 2014 CD Back on Earth... Ride to Hell and several newer tracks which will hopefully feature on a new CD soon... The Endless Road Rock the Highway LOL, they like songs about roads and riding roads, and endless roads... well, you get the idea. 23. Started using Maxthon back in 2011 and never looked back... https://www.maxthon.com/
  24. Ahh, the mighty Leppard... definitely hard to whittle it down to 10, but here goes (in order of release): Let It Go Too Late For Love Foolin' Women Gods of War White Lightning Fractured Love Paper Sun Scar Undefeated
