  1. Survivor - Vital Signs Hraocmn Dnuyas Roginrmn
  2. I was just on LaLa the other day and saw that they no longer traded cds. They have a deal with swaptree.com where you can upload your want and have lists. Swaptree is pretty bad. You trade discs 1 for 1 and you you have to look at your whole available list to see what is available to you. It is pretty time consuming. I looked through almost 1200 listings and found 1 I was interested in. But while lala was operating I made out like a bandit.
  3. When I see remakes like this (I also noticed the absence of bodies) I usually watch them as parodies. Esp the movies on the syfy channel. have you ever noticed that in every syfy movie 2 of the main characters are divorced or broken up. It is in every one. I did like the effects in WOTW. It is hard to improve on a classic.
  4. The shops here don't have anything anymore. But our used shops do occasionally. I found a couple of hard to find cds at a shop last week.
  5. My wife and I have watched some of it. That is some brutal stuff. War is a whole lot diffrent from the 50's sanitized John Wayne stuff ain't it,
  6. Carolina Brewery My favorite by far. It is about 10 min. from my house and the Copperline Is one of the bset red beers I have tasted. Top Of The Hill This place is a little snooty, being right next to the UNC campus but the beer is top notch. Triangle Brewery This place is new and I haven't got there yet but I have heard great things about it. Starting to get thirsty, must get more mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm coffee, since it is only 8:30 in the morning.
  7. Yes. They could have had you standing in the center of the two. ...Just Kidding... The ANGEL Sinful cover was just about as gay but it is a great album. I like Bad Habit, is this any good??
  8. This morning the top bid is 38,100 by "city-of-procter". That is also the name of the town that the chair is located in. Are we not making enough on traffic tickets???? Would that be considered shill bidding???? Must call 20/20!!
  9. I found it in a dollar bin at a local used cd store. They sound alot like Ozzy with a little Priest thrown in. The vocals a similar to Tony Harnell from TNT. The cd is not bad and the more I listen I really hear a TNT influence. They are diffrent from todays Heavy Metal in that the singer CAN and DOES sing and the words are actually understandable.
  10. I quit using it a long time ago for all the same reasons. Metal Archives seems pretty limited to just heavy metal. Rockdetector was really good for AOR and Hard Rock IMO.
  11. I have spun it a couple of times and really like it. I really feel like I am listening to Foreigner with Gramm. Kelly Hansen does a fantastic job on vocals and the band is really tight. I would have loved the 2nd cd to have been the re- recordings of the hits with Kelly instead of re-mixes. Still Fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!!! On a side note I was watching the live DVD one afternoon while me and my daughters were cooking dinner and the song "I want to know what love is" came on. My youngest (15) said why did they cover Mariah Carey? Obviously I still have some work to do. Sandy
  12. Men having breast cancer though rare is not out of question. Richard Roundtree from the 70's movie Shaft battled it for years. Self exams are very important even for men!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please have a fast recovery Catman. Sandy
  13. Just ONE song. That is like eating 1 M&M. Far Beyond The World- TEN
  14. Angel back in the day. I saw them at the very end of a tour with Mothers finest and Mahogany Rush. They were the openers. No lights no white just great music. New England Bonfire Jaded Heart Triumph (never played close to NC) A few more but it is too early to think
  15. It's going to be another cloudy day. Condolences to his family and ANGEL.
  16. I plan to check it out. I enjoyed the original. I might see if I can find it and check it out again.
  17. Down here in the south it is Lunch and Supper.
  18. Ambrose quickly became a favorite of mine. He is a really laid back person it seems. He is a breath of fresh air in a sport that has become void of personality. I miss the old days in NASCAR.
  19. Absolutly fantastic compilation. Great job Andrew.
  20. WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  21. I just read at molodicrock.com that the Hits cd will just be remixes and not re-recordings with Kelly's vocals. I was looking forward to hearing that, but I will still be at Wally World the 29th to get this. I hope that it does for Foreigner what it did for Journey. Journey really revitalised their career this way. BTW it appears that KISS will be doing the same thing at Walmart too.
