I'd cancel the bids ASAP or prepare yourself for excuses and misery. I planned to cancel them. I am going to wait a little while before I do. Yep, North Carolina band. 4 of the 5 members shared the same last name, "Peralta" (I'm guessing a mixture of brothers & cousins). They recorded their 5 song demo at Reflection Studios in Charlotte, NC. They had a song (the power ballad "Someday We'll Fly Away" which is pretty darn good) on the Metal Mythos Volume 1 compilation: http://www.heavyharm...Mythos+Volume+1 The lead singer was a mere 17 years old when they recorded the demo. This is a 8 song cassette. The titles are: 1. Queen Of The Night 2. Fancy Dancer 3. Fly Away 4. Hear The Music 5. Liar 6. Living On The Edge 7. Hot & Nasty 8. Our Love Coming to an auction near you Cool. I think track 3, Fly Away, must be the same song from the compilation. Up until a year ago I used to ship to Brazil and had no problems at all but all of a sudden several cds got "missing". I don't sell to Brazil anymore unless it is someone on the board also. Sandy

I found a cassette yesterday in an old pawn shop. The band was called Peralta. They are obviously a hair band from the pic on the j-card and the music was pretty good. The cassette plays perfectly. There is no info on the card at all except the song titles and who mixed the cassette and a phone #. It is a NC # due to the 919 area code. I lived here all my life and never heard of them so I don't really know if they are local or not. Just curious if anyone had ever heard of them. Sandy

When it rains it pours!!!!

I live about 45 miles from Whiplash and my family was very fortunate. Some friends of mine lost everything about 20 miles away in Sanford NC . Tornadoes are such hit or miss monsters. They are something not to play with. If you get out of one with your life it has been a good day. I have lived through 2. The only other member I know from NC is Shawn Of Fire. I heard he had some rough weather out his way.

Watching the game is just another reason for the family to get together and cook and eat great food. We are going to have BBQ (I cooked the pig yesterday) and wings. I enjoyed it alot. Like said before the production was not too good. Love the band though. Night Dreams is a fantastic album.

I actually bought the house I grew up in when I got divorced. I lived there a few years before I got remarried. My wife and I decided that we needed more space since I had acquired 2 beautiful daughters in the process and my house was a very old and small 2 br and 1 bath. So we tore it down and built a bigger place. What is really cool though is that I have been able to show my girls all the places I used to play here and all the stuff i used to do here. I live about 10 miles from a town so it is very quiet here. My oldest daughter has now decided that she wants to finish out the top room in the barn for an apt. I had the same idea when I was her age. I kept some of the bricks from the foundation after we tore it down, which was not a hard decision, and gave some to my brother and sister and my Mom and Dad. I think that the video is interesting coming from a pretty young person. Most people don't get reminiscant about their past until they get older. I enjoyed the video. I don't like country that much but the message was a great one. Thanks for sending me back down that long dusty road again for a few minutes. Sandy

If you agreed to give him a full refund upon his return of the CD, then that's what you should do. *Who paid the shipping for him to return the CD to you? If he did, then he has incurred extra expenses as well. Just refund the money and be done with it. I concur.

Gerry Rafferty has died today. I am really bummed. Night Owl was one of my all time favorites.
