  1. [Dan's comments: How do you release a "Best of" including songs from a just-released album before you know which songs will be best received? Timing is odd on this one. P.S. 2. Well, week 2 preseason and the Eagles with another blowout 40-17 over the Ravens, and it wasn't that close. Bradford looked shaky initially but got stable, although was only in for one series. Sanchez looked considerably better than last week. Barkley meh and Tebow meh. Eagles are loaded in the running and return game. That Barner kid is a stud and may end up being trade bait because the Eagles are so heavy at the running/return positions. Defense is still a bit suspect at times. Next week at Green Bay with the first team playing the entire first half should tell us more.
  3. Ugh. I would say "Google it", but in a nutshell: Pats were caught deflating ball pressure below league minimums in last year's AFC Championship game, supposedly at the behest of Brady, since he prefers them that way. Lots of finger pointing, lame-ass stories, conjecture. The Patriots suspended/fired two equipment managers, while at the same time claiming that nothing wrong had been done (then why fire them?). Brady refused to co-operate with the NFL investigation. Some of the conclusions of the multimillion-dollar report were suspect. NFL Commissioner Goodell levied fines and gave Brady a 4-game suspension. Brady is suing the NFL. It's in the courts. Lots of bullshit about what in reality is much ado about nothing, but because the Patriots have a history of flouting the rules, it's yet another straw to pile on the camel's back, no matter how minor the issue. Howsat?
  4. 7th heaven releases "Next". (Hear the entire CD Here: Soundcloud) A 10 song feel-good CD of various Pop/Rock songs. This CD will transcend generations with the ability to touch numerous emotions and connecting lyrics. We are very pleased with the songs on this CD and I personally ask that each and every one of you give it a spin. If you like the CD, I ask that you tell others about it. In a world where we have so much negative influence everywhere, I am proud that this CD is a positive influence and will hopefully touch a emotion. I want to thank Adam, for doing a GREAT job on this CD. His talents he brings to 7th heaven are greater than just the stage, they are also packed in these great songs, that hopefully will become favorites of yours. 5. Lots of good ones there. Of those, my faves are: Toto - S/T Van Halen - S/T Styx - Pieces Of Eight Journey - Infinity Rainbow - Long Live Rock 'n' Roll REO Speedwagon - You Can Tuna Piano, But You Can't Tun Fish Heart - Dog & Butterfly Foreigner - Double Vision I'd also add BOC - Some Enchanted Evening
  6. Started out solid instrumentally... but then the "singer" opened his mouth.
  7. I was able to find a free streaming site and watch the game (once I made it through all the malware popups... bastards). The big surprise was how decent Barkley looked at times. Granted, against 2nd and 3rd stringers. Tebow actually looked improved from the last time he was in the league. Of the three QBs, actually Sanchez looked the worst. Nelson Agholor will be a stud. Defense is actually looking good, both aginst the pass and the run. The Eagles pretty much manhandled the Colts on all fronts.
  8. Aaaannnnnnnd.... the game is blacked out. Here in downstate IL, technically I live within the fringe of the Indianapolis market but don't get any of the Indianapolis TV stations, and Illinois by and large is a Bears market not Colts. Fuckers.
  9. Well, the Eagles (pre) season starts in about 10 minutes. The QB situation is a huge unknown. Bradford, Sanchez, Tebow, Barkley. Ugh. In other words, we don't HAVE a quarterback...
  10. Call me very pleasantly surprised. Musically that is vintage W.A.S.P. I'm not enthused about the production/mix, but that's a good song.
  11. Ummmm.... no. Sorry. Less than zero interest. The last thing I intend to do with even one red cent of mine is to put it towards a movie glorifying rap/hip-hop/whatever.
  12. Giving this one a re-listen today. It won't win any awards, but it's a good solid album overall with some decent moments, e.g., "Set Me Free", "I Don't Wanna Cry". Mix bugs me a bit though. Sounds thin in places it shouldn't.
  13. I have heard absolutely NOTHING from this album that makes me think it is worth getting. If not for JBJ's recognizable voice, there's nothing about it that even resembles what we think of as "Bon Jovi". Bleagh.
  14. I guess it depends on on what you mean by "worth it"? It has never been a source of revenue (just expense actually). It's always been there as a nicety. Granted, I should probably give it more prominence on the main site. Many people likely are not aware of it.
  15. Not many. They don't tell you how many listeners, but rather measure it in number of hours listened, which actually is probably more useful. 163 hours in the last 30 days.
  16. I've updated the radio feed, removing the 2014 releases and adding several 2015 releases. The playlist is just shy of 8.5 hours of music. http://www.heavyharmonies.com/cgi-bin/radio.cgi Artists represented: A Life Divided Beauvoir/Free Black Star Riders China Sky Cold Shot Dimino Eclipse Eden's Curse FM Falling In Reverse Impellitteri Impera Issa Jorn Lande & Trond Holter present DRACULA Kelly Keeling Kiske-Somerville Leah Level 10 Lioncage Mark Slaughter Messiah's Kiss Moxy Papa Roach Peterik / Scherer Red Reds'Cool Revolution Saints Rob Moratti Rock 'n' Roll Rebels & the Sunset Strip Room Experience Royal Hunt Serious Black Skip Rock Stala & So Sweet & Lynch Talon The Dreaming The Murder of My Sweet The V Triosphere
  17. It's different. Needs some replays to determine whether I like or am just ambivalent. Don't hate it though.
  18. Spiffy. I like Too Many Gods better, but this isn't bad at all.
  19. I don't know about album of the year, but I like the song.
  20. I wonder what David T. Chastain thinks of them taking that band name...
  21. Not a fan musically, as the vocals are quite shrill, but damn she's hot.
  22. Actually, I don't hate it.
