  1. I'm a fan of begging for forgiveness vs asking for permission.
  2. C'mon Man! You didn't did you?
  3. This is a long shot (and a very non-Heavy Harmonies oriented artist which is why I'm throwing this out for shock value), but Billy Ray Cyrus is in a new band and their new single is pretty damn good believe it or not. Let the stones fly!
  4. Amazon is an excellent place to get CDs for a great price, but sometimes I think most Amazon sellers check Amazon to see what to base their price on, so if one sets a high price, all the rest follow.
  5. Welcome back Jarred, glad you could join us all again
  6. Lindsay I would say don't take the chance especially if he won't do a 'single trade' first...and if he's making up the cancer thing after the almighty DIO just passed away, I'd like to kick his ass!! I'd stay clear myself. Oh and I refuse to believe Dio died of cancer, I think he was killed by a dragon

  8. Yes, they are just average at best.
  9. Anyhoo....for those of us who are silly, the Railjack Union appears to be an original pressing on Europa from 1994. I've seen a lot of silver pressed reissues, and this appears not to be one to me. However it appears CD Baby is out now.
  10. That got my hopes up for a minute, then I looked at the same CD being sold at other music shops online and each lists the same barcode which is Audio & Video Labs, Inc. (a name Disc Makers uses). So, I doubt it will be an original 1994 copy, maybe they just meant the music is from 1994? Here is the question I sent: "Hello, can you tell me if the Railjack Union CDs you are selling original pressings from 1994, or are they reissues. If they are reissues, are they silver pressed CDs or CD-Rs?" Here is the exact quote back I got: "Yes, it looks like they are the 1994 pressing." So we will soon see. Looks like CDBaby is almost out too.
  11. I sent a message to CD Baby and they told me the Railjack Union CDs are the original pressings from 1994. I went ahead and ordered one, so I'll find out for sure once it arrives. I've been after this CD for a while, thanks whiskeyblooze!
  12. Well, my youngest daughter who is in cheer is a 3rd grader, and the squad consists of 2nd to 6th graders, so unless they are child molesters, which I'm sure they aren't, I think it is all cool. However, I'd be more concerned with all the MILF's who are accompanying their daughters, which now that I think of it, my wife would definitely belong in the MILF category, cuz she actually is still pretty damn hot. So maybe I should be concerned now that I think of it
  13. Yeah, I figured I'd get some heat for liking Pearl Jam. I have to admit I haven't listened to them much since the early 90's, but when Ten came out, that was probably one of my favorite CDs for a year running. Plus I've always admired the way they stood up to Ticketmaster. I have to admit I haven't followed their music in over a decade. I think they are one of those bands that was key to their music scene, you have to respect them for that. And to this day they draw a huge crowd (the Sprint Center in Kansas City is the biggest arena you can play at, saw Van Halen play there a few years ago with David Lee and Wolfgang). It would be cool to meet Eddie Vedder (at least I think it would).
  14. I agree, I've always loved Pearl Jam, their first few albums really helped put an end to our kind of music, but you got to admit, they are a hell of a band. Believe me, my wife is rubbing it in that she gets to go tonight and I can't.
  15. My youngest does competitive cheer, and one of the dads of one of the girls my daughter cheers with does security for Pearl Jam, and they are playing at the Sprint Center in Kansas City tomorrow night. Well, the entire cheer squad has been invited to the sound check tonight and to hang out with the band! And I get to say home and mope about not being able to go
  16. I think screamercd on ebay is Ryan from Metal Mayhem records if memory serves.
  17. It's the tune Whiskey Road, I actually like the version by Gypsie better than J-Train. Yes, someone needs to reissue this one!
  18. Um...back when it came out I loved it. I had no idea it would mean the death of hair metal, but it was a pretty kick ass release. I bought Bleach shortly after Nevermind and loved it as well. Is this type of music better than hair metal? I'd say no, but it's not worse than it either. It's too bad the 2 couldn't co-exist. But damn, this turned the music scene on its head. Much like Guns N Roses - Appetite For Destruction did when it came out. To this day I can still listen to it and I still enjoy the album. So let the stone throwing commence
  19. All I have to say as a Kansas State Alum is....Hell Yeah! Its been 22 years since we even made it to the Sweet 16. As a bonus I'm so happy KU choked this year. Man, that was the best game of the tournament so far against Xavier tonight! Nothing like a double overtime victory!
  20. I'll probably be shot or hung for this, but back in the day, I was never impressed with Dokken (I saw them on the Tooth And Nail, Under Lock And Key, and Back For The Attack tours). The band itself kicked ass, but I always thought Don Dokken sucked live as an front man. It wasn't the vocals, but it was just his stage presence. And I was in the few front rows at a few of the shows so it wasn't the fact that I had crappy seats.
  21. Killer CD, reissue or original? The Z Records reissue from 2004. I wasn't even aware that it had been issued on cd back in 1989. I guess I always assumed it was a cassette only release by the band. I was just curious cuz the original is a bitch and a half to find, I lucked into 2 original copies over the past 10 years. Either way its an excellent CD!
  22. I actually have, it was a friends Milli Vanilli CD. He was pretty pissed actually. It was worth it though.
  23. Thanks for the heads up! I just ordered a copy the other day to replace my CD-R bootleg I've had for years.
  24. I just sent you some info that may help you get ahold of the guy, I did contact him through myspace though.
