  1. If you like it so much, you should try snagging the original Jap version: http://cgi.ebay.com/Shanghai-Take-Another-...=item1c0dcf32dc This is the version I have, and it is an excellent CD. I think their 2nd is almost as good.
  2. I just got these as well today from wishingwell (Thanks Roger!). The 4 extra tracks on the Dr. Grind are fantastic, I just wish they would have left the original track listing as is, because the 4 bonus tracks have slightly less sound quality as the S/T CD. I would have stuck them at the end of the disc, but that's just me. Also, if you are going to re-arrange the tracks, I don't know why they stuck the best track at the end. Whiskey Lover has to be easily the best song on the CD.
  3. I always thought this album sucked swamp ass compared to Psycho Cafe. I choose.....Someone Like You (yes, I know it's not on this album).
  4. Haven't been buying much lately, just some new releases and some semi-rarities I've found for cheap. Dorian Lord - Keeper Of The Night Dr Grind - Speechless Felony - Helltown Hotel Ground Zero - I Don't Know Man, What Do You Think? Midnight Blue - Take The Money And Run (Jap Import) Motley Crue - Quaternary Sgt Roxx - Weapon Of Miss Destruction Xenon - America's New Design
  5. Just recieved mine as well , like I said well worth the wait ........... Charlotte that is going to be another fine release !!! Stephen is a great guy he works hard for all the collectors out there . I know Jack Adams thanks him and so should all of us !!! I wonder in 25 years will Sgt Roxx -Weapon Of Miss Distraction bring $500 I wonder in 25 years if any of our CDs will still play or become a victim of CD Rot? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Disc_rot
  6. I just ordered both just now from ya Roger along with the Felony CD too.
  7. When I saw them a month or so back, they played mostly originals and just a handful of covers. One of the best concerts I've ever seen.
  8. Actually found some CDs in an actual used CD store today! Black Sabbath - Heaven And Hell Def Leppard - On Through The Night Hittman - Vivas Machina Lizzy Borden - Deal With The Devil (booklet is autographed by Lizzy) Obsession - Methods Of Madness Obsession - Scarred For Life Tesla - Forever More Whitesnake - Slide It In
  9. Did anyone see Anvil last night on Conan O'Brien? After the interview they played Metal On Metal. I bet half the audience was appalled. I thought it was killer! You could tell Lips was enjoying every minute of it.
  10. Had to run by Wally-World today and pick up the new KISS CD. Man, I wish the DVD that came with it was more than 6 songs, but for 2 CDs and a DVD for $12, I can't really bitch.
  11. I can't speak for anyone else, but if I ever had someone not satisfied with a trade, then I would be completely fine sending the CDs back and getting mine back in return if that is what the other party wanted to do. I think most good traders would do the same. Good luck though, sounds like to me either he tried to screw you, and if he didn't, it was a pretty big oversight, especially since that Saxon CD is probably the toughest one to find (which is probably why you were trading for it in the first place I bet).
  12. Some goodies I picked up this weekend (half from Uncle Sax's auction) Asphalt Ballet - S/T Dare - Blood From Stone (original press) Doxy - Talk Is Cheap Jerry Vayne - Disillusions Of Grandeur Silent Witness - S/T Tarot - To Live Forever (Jap Import) Worlds Apart - All For One
  13. You are going to love the show, I saw them about a month ago in KC and they were killer.
  14. It's actually a very awesome disc. I'd definately call it glam, though some of the songs are much heavier than most of your typical 80's glam bands. Certainly doesn't qualify as thrash, not even close. I wouldn't say glam at all, I'd say hard rock definitely (when I think glam, I'm thinking Poison, Alleycat Scratch, etc). This is nothing like that, definitely hard rock. And their first CD is better than their 2nd.
  15. Me. We've got rehearsals this afternoon. You'll love our new shit. Diggin' up any of your old Lollipop Lovepole Lickers (or whatever it was called) tracks? Nice pick-up. Glad to see we weren't forgotten. To be honest, I think that's what got me the gig so, yeah, I've shown a few of those track to the band and they're (naturally) excited and keen to record them. 'Dikk Azz Bandit Loverz' is the possible title track for the new CD. That's bad ass Are you gonna do an MC Norkie Gee freestyle rap in your new position? Think of the crossover possibilities. Swedish/Aussie Sleaze/Glam Hip Hop! Although CD stores might have problems deciding which section to stock the album in, now that I think about it... You bet your ass I will, mate. A sample: Sleazy mutherfukkerz wearing lippstikk and gloss Cuttin' up corpsez like fairy flosz Eatin' bonez and chewwin' vaginaz I like sum plantz, espezzially climberz Kickin' out rokk till our guitarz are bleedin' We like to likk norkz but not becauze we're feedin' We're the baddezt boyz with our elektrick toyz And on this rekkord you'll spurt jizm over our noize I think this is already a Steel Panther song
  16. OK, I've gotten 2 more emails from him demanding I remove the negative feedback, then another one just with the word "LIAR" in a big red font, so I just told him to fuck off, so hopefully he does. I know most people have had good luck with this guy, but I'm done with him.
  17. Dan, either you or one of the administrators of this site better put this CD in the top 5 of the year because this CD is simply brilliant. I saw these guys live a week ago here in Kansas City and it was one of the best shows I've ever seen in my life (and I've seen a LOT of shows in my 38 years on this spinning rock). Here is a link to one of the songs from the show, granted the band isn't featured in much of the video but if you could have been there and seen how the crowd reacted you would understand. Just listen to the crowd singing along, they almost drowned out the band! They had us by the balls the entire show! Everyone HAS TO see this band live!!!! Don't Stop Believin' - Some more links from the show in KC: Sweet Child O Mine - Eruption - Eyes Of A Panther -
  18. great song.........great album I'll second that. That song made it on my first ever 'best of' 17 track compilation, plucked from my entire collection... and it'd still be there today. My favorite Signal song has always been Run Into The Night, I have no idea why they stuck it at the very end of the CD! But then again, every song on that CD is killer.
  19. You can hear an entire song on their myspace page too.
  20. I guess I just want to reiterate my point...that I never thought the dude didn't send me my CD, he just was really crappy about replying back to any of my inquiries (including Paypal complaints). He blamed it on being on vacation, which my or may not have been legitimate, but it is certainly plausible (even though it seems weird somebody wouldn't check email for weeks on end, but I've already mentioned that in previous posts). I was just curious as to if anyone else had problems with dealing with him. So I've never said he was a scam artist or anything like that, I was just trying to feel out if I should be concerned about no CD after waiting over a month and no replies to my inquiries. And to date as of today, the CD still never has arrived, so I'm sure he sent it to the wrong address like I said before. So even though I probably won't take back my negative feedback because I think it is important for others to know I had a bad experience as a buyer dealing with him, I just want to say that I'm probably the exception, not the rule with this seller. But he does seem to be having some type of issues as of late with other people besides me.
  21. Well, I guess he isn't "new", he's been around several years, just hasn't posted much.
  22. Just wanted to let everyone know about a newer member of the board that I had a great first trade with. Obviously it is Alexxtcatz. First time ever trading with someone from Russia, but it was a flawless trade. So don't hesitate to trade with him. Thanks again dude for the trade
  23. So, you are having troubles with him too. Too bad, he seemed to be a great buyer/seller for a long time now. Well, I got my money back so I'm just grateful for that.
