  1. I have the cassette version on Mercenary, I never have come across the cd version, it's on my replacement cassette to cd list.
  2. I saw this lp, in a used record store a few months back and was too embarrassed to buy it..
  3. here's a few I have been looking for over the years: Defender "2 N Fro" Destroyer "Optimun DSI" Fly By Night "Zoo Road" Jack of Diamonds "Dodge City" Tantrum "Trenton City Murders" Versylus WW III "Intensive Care" 45 Pegasus "A Heartbeat Awat" 45 Pumphouse S/T Mask "Heavy What" Metalwolf Able Kane "stelin the Show"
  4. I would stick to looking for indie hard rock/metal lps, there is a big market for indie releases, most were only released in limited amounts and from my EBAY experience, most of mine have sold from $50.00 to 150.00 over the past year or so. Alot of the time the more unknown the band is, the better it sells. Most of the time I only pay $1.00 to $5.00 each, so I'm not out too much if it's not a seller.
  5. I picked up a lp awhile back called Tranzit "Necessary Love".....the cover looked metal, black backround with winged logo, wasn't much band info or band photo on lp, when I got home and threw it on the turntable......it was what I would call Spanish disco....lucky I only payed a buck for it...
  6. I have been looking for the Bricklin cd for years, doesn't come up too often..
  7. I was talking with a guy over the weekend about the Taken "Smell the Groove" cd (which has been on my most wanted list forever), and he said that Dean was in a group called Dead Serious that put out a cd in 1993 that was very similar to Taken, at first I thought he was talking about Afterlife (which was in a totally different direction than Taken)......but, he said it wasn't the Afterlife cd which he said sucked. Does anyone know anything about Richard's Dean 1993 cd called Dead Serious???
  8. Hey, I picked up......Slouch...Why Bother.....over the weekend at a flea market....I havn't got around to playing it yet....

Jenkins, 50, collapsed around 2:45 p.m. as the band performed under a tent on High Street, said FAITH OR FEAR guitarist Chris Bombeke. FAITH OR FEAR Bassist Dies After Suffering Apparent Heart Attack On Stage - Sep. 14, 2009 Clarence "C.J." Jenkins, bassist for the popular Philadelphia-based thrash-metal band FAITH OR FEAR, died Sunday (September 13) after suffering an apparent heart attack during the group's performance at the city's Arts, Music and Antiques Festival. Jenkins, 50, collapsed around 2:45 p.m. as the band performed under a tent on High Street, said FAITH OR FEAR guitarist Chris Bombeke. Jenkins, of Newport, was rushed to South Jersey Healthcare Regional Medical Center in Vineland, where he was later pronounced dead, said his sister, Karen Connors. FAITH OR FEAR was in the midst of a comeback after reuniting last year. The band released the CD "Instruments of Death" in June. Sunday's performance was FAITH OR FEAR's first in its hometown of Millville in about 20 years, Bombeke said. The band was nearly finished with its 30-minute set when Jenkins collapsed, according to Bombeke, who added that he and other bystanders performed CPR on the bassist until rescuers arrived. "I don't think FAITH OR FEAR would have even been a name to talk about without C.J.," Bombeke said. "We never had another bass player." Jenkins worked at Musikraft LLC, a Landisville-based company that makes necks and bodies for guitars and basses. FAITH OR FEAR rose to prominence in the late 1980s after releasing the album "Punishment Area". The band, which had started out rehearsing in a chicken coop, went on a national tour, but split up in 1991 without releasing another record. FAITH OR FEAR's original lineup — minus guitarist Merritt Gant — reunited last year, playing shows in the Philadelphia area. The band was considering a tour of Germany, Japan and South America — countries where there's been a thrash-metal revival — in 2010, Bombeke said, adding that he hasn't decided if he'll continue with FAITH OR FEAR.

  15. I'm with you Geoff, I never had the desire to meet any artist or bands after I had seen them played. Just seeing them play was always enough for me. Over the years I have got to know a lot of local NJ/PA bands from going to clubs and seeing them play since the early 80's, but, I never went out of my way to meet or try to talk with them, same with national bands, I'm just not an autograph type of person or one to chit chat.

    WILD STREET

Well... I only took pictures at the first Wildstreet show which happened to be the very first band to play the whole festival. Thursday at noon... Alot of people hadn't arrived yet. Thursday was the day that the "heavier" bands played (Overkill, Metal Church, and Anthrax). When Wildstreet closed the festival on Sunday night after Twisted Sister they had a very good crowd. Any others photos from the rest of the festival?
