  1. I have had it for a few years now, the turnaround is very quick, if I send a dvd back on Monday, most of the time I will have the next dvd by Wed. Every so often I will steam a movie right to my laptop, for 9.99 a month you can't beat the price.
  2. I'm in the Band....by Sean Yseult....from White Zombie.....pretty good, more like a scrapbook, tons of photos, old posters, record artwork, etc. just short stories, not much to read...
  3. I have a extra sealed copy of the new Adrian Dodz reissue for trade, looking for mostly NJ,Penna,NY hard rock/metal bands, but will consider other interesting indies...just shoot me an pm...thanks..
  4. I got Tales of a Ratt for Xmas, still have not started to read it yet, Alder's book was pretty good, Snake Eyes's "Confessions of A Replacement Rockstar" by Stacey Blades of LA Guns was also very good, I didn't even know, who the guy was until I started the book and I really enjoyed it. The BEAST BY PAUL DI'ANNO.....Big disappoinment, the guy sounds totally full of shit, he's the toughest, takes the most drugs etc. Sold all his Iron Maiden rights for a lousy $50,000, because he want a fresh start..gimme a break..
  5. How about, the Cycle Sluts from Hell...."Wish You Were a Beer"
  6. Doesn't EBAY have a feature which you can set, turning down low offers automatically, say on a 40.00 cd, you cant set to turn down any offers 10.00 and under, so you don't have to deal with all the morons.
  7. I would say Sanctum "Believers", I made some great money on it, but, I was sure I would have found another copy by now
  8. I remember reading on another board, awhile back. That the bass player from KRANK, day time job was for a bug control service, not sure if it was Orkin's..
  9. I saw the Who during the 1981 "farewell tour" at JFK Stadium in Philly, they were alright, thought they would be better than they were. The Clash and Santana opened, The Clash were just about booed off stage..
  10. Circus of Power...Raging Slab....always reminded me of biker bands.......and how could I forget the Cycle Sluts from Hell
  11. I'd love to know who that 3rd band was... Maybe: STAGGERWING THE VAMPS CHILD'S PLAY DC STAR RUFF RIDE BOOT CAMP RANDOM HAVOC PATRIOT I know it wasn't DC Starr or Child's Play, it was the opening band, I had never heard of them back then, Hey LV KIX, as I was thinking back, was there a offshot band of Wrathchild called Milita or something like that?
  12. I try to treat everybody fairly in life and not be a racist, but Sat morning I pull into a gas station and a towelhead comes over to fill my car up, I did feel anger in me towards this guy. A friend of mine who is a bit extreme in his thinking, says they are taking over a little bit at a time, with a ex Muslim as president, he might be right?
  13. I was living in Pa. at the time, and my neighbor worked at thr towers, I didn't know him good, just to say hello and give each other a wave. As the day went on I will never forgot the cries of his family, most who had arrived at his house to be with his wife and two kids. AS the day went on and any hope that he had made it out drew dimmer, the mood got sadder. I remember his wife in the yard, just crying no..no..no...it still breaks my heart to this day..All the pain caused, and that was just one family, times that by all the others lost..
  14. at least 4 or 5 I remember... First time at the Spectrum, opening for the Kinks, 1982 or 1983, I will have to check my ticket stub.. 2) Royal Manor club in New Brunswick, NJ 82 or 83, I know it was a few months after the Kinks show... 3) One of the best club shows I was ever at, it was a Maryland or Baltimore invades the Empire Rock Club in Philly with Kix, Wrathchild (before they became Wrathchild America) and one other Balt. band I can't remember..I'm thinking 83 or 84 maybe... 4) the other L'Amours in Queens, NY with Teeze opening...83 or 84 5) the last time was a couple years back at some club in the middle of Penna. called Peppers, it was a Funny Money show, but they did alot of Kix tunes, Teeze/Roughhouse was the opening band...

  21. I picked up a cd about a year ago, looked liked a local band, but, saw the name of the group Broken Peace with a piece sign on the cover, I thought it was some 60's type hippie music. Last week I just finally put it in the cd player and surprize, great 8o's style hard rock, sorta of a mix of Junkyard meets Tyketto. Has anyone been fooled by the cover or name of a group ?
  22. I was thinking about going, but, I have to work this Sat., same thing happened last year, (I only work a few Saturdays' a year) I am going to see Cinderella and Keel, Wed night at House of Blues in AC
  23. Wow, I never knew the Defender 2NFRO came out in cd format, I have been looking for the lp for years now, it on my most wanted list...
  24. Very depressing day, I was lucky to see him live several times over the years, with Rainbow, the Holy Diver tour at the Spectrum which was released on VHS, (I remember me & my buddy playing it frame by frame to see if we could find us in the crowd), my favorite show was seeing him at Birch Hill on the Magica tour, being only a few feet from him. A few years back with Heaven & Hell. Thanks for the memories Ronnie, you won't be fogotten....RIP..
