The darkest lyrics were wrote by Geezer Butler but he's not listed, so I'll go with Dio with Tony Martin a close 2nd.

 

Ozzy best personifies Sabbath, but he is by far the worst singer listed

Not really a Sabbath fan, but I prefer Ozzy. RJD was a great vocalist too.

I went with an Ozzy cleansweep cause as far as I am concerned, Black Sabbath without Ozzy isnt Black Sabbath. It may sound good, but its like the Motley Crue album without Vince. Its a great album, but it wasnt Motley Crue.

Now with the question about who is the best singer, I went with Ozzy cause this question is about Black Sabbath. Ozzy was the best singer for Black Sabbath.

 

If this was just a random question of who is the most talented singer, Hughes dominates the others no questions asked, but Hughes, Dio, Martin & Gillan (and Gillen for that matter) were not Black Sabbath singers. They were singers in a band that borrowed the name.

Even though I think Sabbath did their best work with Tony Martin, maybe because they became more comercialized.
