I just wonder if my boxes of cereal are calling out to me and saying 'Eat me', no 'Eat me'. Maybe my eggs and bacon are doing the same.

Maybe they all talk to each other when I'm not around and say things like 'I'm his favorite' 'No I'm his favorite'.
