Hi...

Long time since I've been active here on board... Hi all!!

BUT!!!

Please help me out here....

Has anyone ever traded/sold/bought anything from/to Ebayers Aldrumz & Nerdz R Us???

I haven't been active on Ebay very long and these two sellers are the only "bad" ones I've encountered...

Well, basically they've promised the world but haven't even replied to e-mails + I haven't received anything at all from those guys....It's almost 1½ month since the transaction :angryfire:

Anyone who knows these sellers???

I bought 2 Reissues, Atlantic - Power and The Ladder - S/T, from Aldrumz and had no problems at all. Both CD's are great quality.

Mind you, I am still waiting for his positive feedback, though ! <_<

Okay...By the way...Aldrumz actually DID reply to my first E-mail...But eversince the situation "tightened" he hasn't been very "communicative"...

Seems you just scooped that ATLANTIC album before my eyes!!! Haha

I thought I was the highbidder but it seems you beat me to it... :butt:

Well, mine I bought about 2 months ago. On Oct 02.

Apparently it is a reissue from New Zealand by Rock-It Records. Pressed in 2004.

But he has his hands on more of those. Just keep on looking !

I wish you lots of luck !!

I bought some CD's from Aldrumz auctions a couple of weeks back. Indeed, he's very slow and do not answer e-mails. I think I waited for 2-3 weeks before the CD's finally showed up. It's strange though, because his feedback rating is very good. But I for one would not buy from him again...

Thanks for your 2 cents!

That's pretty much what I figured... :angryfire:

It is a homemade boot. Not sanctioned by the band whatsoever. That said, he does a decent job of the packaging on these. He's "re-issued" stuff like Tommy Shaw's "Ambition" & Brian McDonald Group "Desperate Business" too....

Yep , I scored a few of Aldrumz releases myself.  Saved myself a whole bunch of cash from having to buy those ridiculous $80 originals.

Not trying to argue with you my friend, but anyone intentionally selling bootlegs on-line to unsuspecting buyers is a piece of shit in my book.

If you want to buy boots, CD-R's, whatever, in order to save some money, good for you and fine by me. However, if someone tries to peddle that crap on me disguised as an original it's a whole different story.

The Mona Lisa is a God-awful ugly painting, but I'd certainly hang the original in my house. NO F**ING WAY I'D HANG A RE-PRINT.

Now that's my two-cents.

um , I think it was perfectly clear that he was selling re-issues as they were stated as such in his auctions.  If anyone couldn't figure that out then , um , maybe you should go back to school and not buy stuff off eBay.

That is true. Aldrumz puts the words 're-issue' in big letters on his auctions, & does a very good job with the packaging & CD pressing. As such his feedback is very high.

Whether or not you agree with the principle of selling boots, with the artist themselves making no profit, the actual products are of pretty high quality & I personally have bought a few & been very happy.

Maybe I'm naive but there are non-bootleg re-issues right? Suppose he re-issues something like Vinnie Vincent Invasion's "All Systems Go" which was alreday re-issued.

Like I said, maybe I'm just naive, but I always assumed re-issued meant re-issued by the record label.

Not that I'm against it...but I'm not sure I would know I was getting a bootleg just because it said "re-issue".

Aldrumz CD's are all bootlegs and therefore begs the question why are people happy to pay c$20+ for these plus postage?

I have CDR's of all these through trades.

THe guy is a little dodgy selling as "reissues" when clearly they are not. His adverts are clearly mis representing his items.

There is a big difference between a reissue & a bootleg!
