*** NEW MUSIC ALERT ***
In only 5 days from now we will release our brand new single 'Call of the Wild' on all digital platforms, and we're so excited that we couldn't wait to tell you guys about it already today. Please pre-save it on your favorite DSP via the links below so you don't miss it when it comes out on Monday, September 2 (also helpful from an algorithm standpoint so the "people" over at Spotify and iTunes know which song (out of 100,000+ songs released each day) to prioritize). Let's keep rock alive!

What can you say except it's Crazy Lixx. They know what works and they stick to it. Another banger tune.

Exactly :) and I personally wouldn't want it any other way.

No mention of it yet, but it's not like them to release non-album tracks. That said, it could just be an early release from an album a year away as this has become trend for some bands these days.

The Warning released the single "More" back in April 2023 and I bought it on MP3 as was under the impression it was a standalone song like Narcista, but it was the first single from their latest album which wasnt released until June this year.

Danny is pretty good at giving updates though.

So, Danny posted how the song is doing on Spotify and someone asked if this means a new album soon. Danny just made vague replies and said "well there will be more stuff coming soon"

Eclipse played that same game when Apocalypse Blues came out.  They dropped that song as just a single and made no mention of an album at that point as far as I remember.  All they were doing was selling the 7 inch vinyl.  We know now though that they clearly knew a full album was coming as Erik said they basically were working on both albums at the same time and deciding which tracks would go on each album.  Granted, maybe they didn't know the full timing of album #2 at that point but they certainly knew one was coming.

Maybe the same here.  Maybe will trickle out a few songs and then announce an album later this year or early next year when it's closer to release.

I have learned not to assume these kinda releases are stand alone so I won't be buying the digital single, that's for sure. Been bitten with that one before. And if it does end up being standalone, well the digital single will still be available later. I don't like buying anything digitally, so only do it when there is no other choice.

  • 4 weeks later...

Like that one.

However, I also feel like this one drags on a bit too long for my attention span and probably could've trimmed about 90 seconds off.  So that holds it back just a bit for me.

Still pretty decent though and has the "big" Crazy Lixx sound.

Didn't even realise how long it is, that's how good it is.

So I have this info from a reliable inside source. There will be a new CL album at the start of 2025, and Danny is also working with Chez Kane on her third album which should come out late 2025.

    • This is kind of a twofer. I just got my Pioneer VX-90 Betamax back yesterday. Cost me a fortune to get it fixed. Well worth it to have such a beast of a machine. Before that I only had low to mid tier Beta machines. I am very excited. The first tape I played was Quiet Riot: Bang Thy Head. Watching that video I found myself in awe of how awesome Quiet Riot were during those first few years. How is it possible for a band to be that awesome and have it all go so wrong so quickly? By the time I heard about Quiet Riot in the early 2000s they were basically considered a joke. Sadly, I kind of just accepted that as fact. I was a casual fan at best and never really looked much deeper than the radio hits. That was a mistake. I am lucky that I at least got to see them live a couple times. I didn't appreciate it at the time. That was really cool of Kevin and the other guys to sign my ticket stub.
    • From Bravewords... Legendary rock guitarist Jake E. Lee (Ozzy Osbourne, Badlands, Red Dragon Cartel) has issued an update after he was shot multiple times earlier this week in a Las Vegas, NV street shooting. Jake shared the following via social media: "Checking. Is this on? Been awhile since I posted here. Let’s see: "I deeply appreciate all the concern and well wishes. Makes everything going on a little better. To clarify, I was shot three times. I was on my way back home from walking my dog Coco (I didn’t name him so don’t!) Don’t want to go into details now, I’m tired, but I feel relatively very lucky. The police found 15 shell casings at the scene which means he emptied his clip on me. I could only dodge so many so one bullet went through my forearm, one through my foot, and one in the back which broke a rib and damaged a lung. Priority now is to keep draining my lung till it’s done crying. Then we can pull that tube out and concentrate on the more minor injuries. "And by the way, Coco’s fine and appreciates your inquiries!"   Police released a statement regarding the shooting, which occurred early morning on October 15. The statement reads: "Officers responded to a shooting incident in the 11000 block of Alora Street. Officers arrived and located a male victim suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The male was transported to the hospital. No arrests have been made at this time. This is an ongoing investigation." In a statement to TMZ, Ozzy Osbourne said, “It’s been 37 years since I’ve seen Jake E. Lee, but that still doesn’t take away from the shock of hearing what happened to him today. It’s just another senseless act of gun violence. I send my thoughts to him and his beautiful daughter, Jade. I just hope he’ll be ok.” Lee played with Ozzy from 1983-1987 and was featured on the albums Bark At The Moon and The Ultimate Sin.
