This is the hardest thing I’ve ever had to write but it’s with a heavy & shattered heart to say that my beloved Steve died suddenly & unexpectedly on Monday 15th August. 

Wait for me my love. Until we are together again. Your Millie xxx

Sad news. The first 3 Grim Reaper albums were great old school metal.

Steve had to be one of hardest working,underappreciated singers in Hard Rock/Metal.His work on the GR and Lionsheart records still impresses.I've always appreciated the reverence he had for RJD.

I've just been revisiting the first 2 "Lionsheart" albums. Great memories. 

"Portrait" based on "The Picture of Dorian Gray" from the debut is one of my all time favourites. 

Killer riffage!

"Gods of War" and "Pain in my Heart" (Killer ballad, one of the best you'll ever hear BTW) from the follow up album are also huge favourites.

It's always sad when an Artist passes away, but it's nice to know that their Art lives on.
