The Birthday Massacre

A band I have been seriously getting into over the course of the last couple of years. Karpet boy might have heard of them, as they are a Canadian band and now have 9 albums, including their new and very excellent 'Fascination' album, which was released last week (and truly excellent it is too). People who like the synthwave genre may get something from this, although it's darker , heavier in places and often described as Darkwave, Electronic rock, Synthrock and Goth Rock.

Best album of the year for me so far.  

Reminds me of Murder of my sweet at times. 

No idea what genre you're supposed to call it but really like it. I shall shortly be exploring the back catalogue.

Yeah, it's a pretty cool album. Nice synthwave.

Gotta admit, I wasn't aware they had such a big back catalogue... I feel inclined to check some of it out. 

Faves are 'Dreams of you,' 'Like Fear, Like Love' and 'Once Again.'
