Hadn't listened to this in a while so gave it a spin yesterday, MONSTER!!! AOR Album... and as for Jack Jones, man what a voice.

Their debut is a monster of an album.

Used see Jack and Virgil , playing a Van Halen tribute band, Jack didn't sing.

Jack has also release a solo album, which got different sound to the Southern Sons.

Yeah, great memories.

"Heart in Danger" was a huge hit here at the time.

In recent times Jack Jones has been collaborating with another unsung Aussie Legend, Rick Price.

"Not a Day Goes By" is as good as it gets AOR wise.

As for Virgil Donati, what can you say but absolute Legend.

"Soul SirkUS" is one of the Supergroups of all Supergroups.

I remember back about 93/94, I saw a "Dream Theater" tribute band called "Theater of Dreams" perform "Images and Words" with Virgil on drums at a pub in Richmond. It was perfect note for note.

I remember that it was the loudest performance I'd ever heard. My ears were still ringing well into the next day.

Also, Virgil was the resident drummer on "Hey Hey It's Saturday" (Aussie Reference).

On a side note, at the height of his fame, Jack Jones was banging Rebecca Gibney in her prime.

The Aussies here know what a magnificent achievement that was.

Deen Castronovo was the first drummer in Soul Sirkus before Virgil, problems surface with Deen and Virgil replaced him.

They re record the album with Virgil drum work.

Virgil has been playing along time, since mid seventies. Got a CD where he plays jazz.

Most of members bar Jack, were in a band called the State.

Got a mate who worked for Crawford production, Jack was always bragging about himself and Rebecca.
