As Hank reveals: “They say that life is not about being who you are; it’s about becoming who you want to be. After almost a decade with Houston I’ve learned a lot about myself and the music that I love. These songs are me, all me, singing my heart out for the world to hear and this album has been a dream of mine, something to cross off the bucket list if you will”.

The album was produced, mixed and mastered by Mats Ericsson at BoomBridge Studios. Recorded at BoomBridge Studios & Erix Music & Production Studios. Executive Producer – Hank Erix.

HANK ERIX is the frontman of the Swedish AOR band HOUSTON. A band that have been a bright star in the AOR / Melodic rock sky over their last five releases. The band received the best AOR album 2010 accolade in Classic Rock Magazine and have appeared on several impressive festivals throughout Europe such as Sweden Rock and Download Festival. Over almost a decade with HOUSTON, HANK ERIX has made quite a name for himself in the melodic rock world and it’s finally time for the release of his solo debut ‘Nothing but Trouble’.

The album features songs that has been marinating for years and sees the band leader of HOUSTON taking a bold step forward from the expected HOUSTON sound and sees Hank flexing his more hard rocking muscles. Tagging along with HANK ERIX on this 1700cc motorcycle ride of an album are members of Therion, Degreed, Art Nation, Wildness, Kryptonite, Palace, Gutterdämerung & Adrenaline Rush.

    • DLed on itunes. I can play on my laptop on itunes, but can't transfer to my ipod. I can't figure out why. It says that 7 songs could not transfer, ask itunes why(even though I tried to transfer all 11, none show up). There are about 5-6 keepers for me. Not a great album, but not bad.
    • Great song! For me, best song they've done. Could have been on One Desire's first album.
    • New song 'The Rain', not from the latest effort 'A New Horizon'.
    • Haha. Awesome. Fuck me, you sure know how to lift me up. Only thing that could make these two even better than they are is if I looked outside my window and saw you singing them to me personally.
    • New video for 'A New Horizon'.
    • You know that feeling when you're sitting around listening to your 1987 playlist and a song you've heard plenty of times comes on the speakers and as it plays you think to yourself, holy fuck, seriously, how good is this song?! I think we can safely call it under-rated as the band only have the - wait, what the fuck? As I was just double checking that they only had the one EP, I notice this actually got re-released with 6/7 more tracks last year?  https://heavyharmonies.com/cgi-bin/glamcd.cgi?BandNum=9095&CDName=II Did I know about this? I know my memory is terrible, but I don't think so. I must find immediately.  But yeah, how good is this song?
    • New video for 'Into The Fire'. From Frontiers: Swedish rockers degreed have announced the upcoming release of their sixth studio album, “Are You Ready”.  ”I can’t believe we’re about to release our sixth studio album. I am so proud of this band and I am very humbled that we are still around. And what could fit more perfectly than to release this album with Frontiers? The leading company when it comes to melodic rock and hard rock! Our upcoming album will be just that...a more straightforward hard rock album with great melodies. Our ”old” fans will not be disappointed, and I’m sure that we will gain a lot of new ones as well with this one,” says vocalist Robin Eriksson. This new record indeed shows a more straightforward and focused direction for the band’s sound. Still extremely melodic and catchy, and not without some really outstanding instrumental parts, Degreed is back stronger than ever and with a great management and record label supporting them, they’ve never been more ready to take on the world. degreed have been releasing critically acclaimed music since the start of their career with their first album “Life, Love, Loss” in 2010. Over the course of their next four studio albums, the band has gone from strength to strength with every release, touring and gaining fans all over the world and they have no plans on stopping now. Degreed's sound mixes the classic melodic and hard rock sounds with more contemporary influences offering the fans a very personal, fresh and exciting mix of great rock music. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the band wasn’t able to tour on the heels of the release of their latest album, "Lost Generation" (2019), they set out to begin work on their sixth studio album, "Are You Ready". The band released the song “The World We Knew," their musical summation of the year 2020 (the song became ”Track of the Week” at Classic Rock Magazine’s website a week after its release) and then in 2021, work began in earnest on what would ultimately become "Are You Ready". Tracklisting: 1.    Into The Fire 2.    Higher 3.    Feed The Lie 4.    Radio 5.    Are You Ready 6.    Burning  7.    Falling Down 8.    Lost In Paradise 9.    Turn Back 10.    We Will Win 11.    Desire
    • Looks like I'm the only one who likes Tyler more than Coverdale. Not that I dislike Coverdale, I love the guy's voice, but if I had to choose just one to listen to, I'd go with Tyler, especially his 70's output. I kinda like the sleazy sound just a little bit more than the bluesy sounding voices.
    • It's like how I apologise to the mechanics every time my car breaks down.
    • I reckon it's worth asking the question.
