From pledgemusic.com:

Trapper is a new original Canadian band that plays 1980’s style melodic hard rock. We are named after the North Bay Trappers and the Canadian fur trapper. We got the shock of our lives when Def Leppard invited us to tour with them in May of this year. So we are pulling up our bootstraps, rolling out the Marshall amps, dusting off the motorcycle gloves and inviting you along to help us finish our EP, entitled “Go For The Heart”. We lived and breathed this kind of music as teenagers, and now we are loving the chance to make it for you. We really believe in the power of rock n’ roll and we are honoured to share this experience with you.

There's a cool chorus melody there, but that's it. Laid back sound I don't dig otherwise, and the lyrics / subject matter is amazingly annoying.

Picked up this EP recently... quite enjoyable female fronted melodic hard rock. Nice covers of Scandal's "The Warrior" and The Outfield's "Your Love". I'm surprised back when this was originally posted that no mention was made of Sean Kelly of Crash Kelly fame being on guitar and Emm Gryner, sister of Tony Gryner aka our very own Koogles, being on vocals.  B)

Haha, how on earth did you find that out? That Koogles link is pretty cool, and completely random.

Wait, what?? Tony is Emm Gryner's brother? Holy shit. That explains her love of 80's Melodic Rock.

Does every Canadian know every other Canadian? Say hi to Harry Hess for me next time you do your groceries.

And can you find out what the guys from Cauterize are doing? Why don't they just make some more music? Please let me know.

Looking back through their posts from 2015 on their FB page it seems like they actually managed to get the CD done via Pledge Music. If they had any issues, they didn't discuss them publicly anyway.
