My Little Pony KarpetRydOFunk Posted November 23, 2014 My Little Pony Report Share Posted November 23, 2014 I saw a listing for Gorky Park - Moscow Calling on eBay for $2,999.00. Yeah, that's not a typo. I thought it was ridiculous. I mean, the album already sells for too much ($40-$100), but $3000 is just stoopid. The seller, Swedenrules, had a 'Make an Offer' option, so I decided to be a dick and offer 1% his asking price. Not even three minutes later, he accepted. Maybe he misread where I placed the decimal. Maybe he, himself, misplaced the decimal on the listing. In any case, we have both entered into this contract, now. And $29.99 is probably the cheapest I've seen that album go for in a long time. DaHun72
Well done and good luck! I once asked him a question about combined postage and he sent me back a rant. Weird dude!
Mullethead
You bought from the biggest douche on Ebay. He is arrogant and a jackass. Beware of his cds that say "sealed new". He shrink wraps his used cds that he thinks will pass as new. Â Be careful bro...
AlphaMale
Yeah.... he sent me some discs that were self-sealed. Fucking bullshit con-artist if you ask me.
speed demon
Poor excuse for a human being. I actually abhor this guy. Complete douche bag! Lower than whale shit. I'd rather go back to work from the Correctional Facility that I retired from then to buy from him or talk to him!!!!!!!

Geoff
I actually don't hunk I've ever heard this CD. Is it actually any good? I only liked 'Sometimes at night' off the debut, so considering that, is it any better than the debut?

The general consensus puts Moscow Calling far ahead the debut, but I still prefer Gorky Park, because it was one of the first albums that got me hooked on the genre. eaglesfan3000
I bought my Kidd Glove Long Island pressing from this guy and he wouldn't budge on the price, he's straight and to the point never really had a problem with him. DaHun72
I bought from Bruno (swedenrules) over 5 years ago. He offered a without cases shipping option and I asked if it was well protected to help me decide which option I was going to choose. This was his response....  "Well protected? Listen, I always ship my items in a bubble protected package. That's as good as is gets. Don't ask for better protection when you want a cheaper rate without the jewel case. That's not how it works. If you want more protection you either pay for it or you choose shipping WITH the jewel case. I do not pay for buyer's shipping by adding more protection. That's not how it works John ok."  I simply chose the no cases option because I didn't want to talk to this douche anymore. You will be unsurprised to find out that sure enough he threw inserts, booklet and cds into a padded bag. Everything arrived bent and mangled.  He's a wanker imo and I would avoid him but each to their own.
My Little Pony KarpetRydOFunk Posted November 27, 2014 Author My Little Pony Report Share Posted November 27, 2014 I appreciate all the words of caution, guys, I really do, but I'm not worried. Don't get me wrong, I am expecting to get scammed, but I didn't for a second think he was gonna accept my offer. It was a joke. I think he mistakenly accepted it, and will now scam me to save him from losing a $3000 item. Well, according to him it's worth that much. Seriously, was there actually a rare pressing of this album? LV KIX
Never purchased anything from him. He has actually won a few of my auctions over the years... Â My guess is that he relisted everything he won for a MUCH higher price.
My Little Pony KarpetRydOFunk Posted December 2, 2014 Author My Little Pony Report Share Posted December 2, 2014 Well the item arrived, and all the numbers match, so I guess I didn't get scammed. So that's cool.

AlphaMale
Anyway, I remember the first disc and buying it and being pissed off at the song "Try To Find Me". Â Not because it was a bad song or anything..... I had just written a song with that exact same title about 3 weeks prior to hearing about them and buying the cassette. I thought I was a genius with a unique title that I had never heard used before. Mine was originally with "Please" in the title but I removed it in band practice. Crazy coincidence?? Â And boom.... there this wonderful ballad flows with my fucking title. Dammit!!! Â That still pisses me off!!
