Playing through the non-ratings period here in Oz which I assume means it's over and done, but I'm still holding on... just. I've seen about 1/4 of the episodes, probably less, but I'm still keeping updated. Not sure why, but I guess it's half okay...

The finale was the best part of the whole show.....I am not holding out for a second series tho as these shows get dumped in America so fast its just not right.

After months of mulling over the decision whether or not to renew Steven Spielberg's time-travel drama TERRA NOVA, FOX has opted NOT to move forward with a second season. The ratings weren't very strong (7.5 million total viewers and 2.6 million in adults 18-49 demo per episode) and with an increased number of hourlong dramas (TOUCH and ALCATRAZ to name a couple), that made the decision a difficult one but one that the network is comfortable with.

Rumor has it that 20th Century Fox is shopping the show around to other networks.

...betcha SyFy Channel will pick it up, slash the budget per episode in half, replace all the cast with cheaper actors and run it completely into the ground. Y'know, like they did with "Sliders."

Didn't stick with this, probably watched around 8 episodes but that was a struggle

I saw half the episodes or less, but I watched it till the end of the series. I won't miss it but it was okay. I didn't even make it through a quarter of an episode of 'Alcatraz' by comparison.

I watched the whole of this series - watchable but never mindblowing imo. Bit like Falling Skies which was also good, but not great.

Still searching for a new show to replace the holes which were left by Lost and Battlestar Galactica.

Mind you still LOVIN True Blood and Spartacus.

    • So some may remember that Tyketto toured recently and aside from Forever Young, I never delved into this band. So I did, so I'd know the songs in concert and was blown away. A great band with an awesome catalog that I had missed out on. To be fair, in the 80's it was a lot harder to access and find out about a lot of the more fringe bands, that's my excuse anyway. So I now am faced with digging deeper into some other bands I've overlooked. Some of these I gave a go, and wasn't really impressed, but now I'm starting fresh with an open mind. So below is a list of bands I have eitehr never bothered with, or never really gave a proper go. Lizzy Borden is on the list and I have done a bit of their stuff and like it a lot, so I will definately dig deeper into them (I've got some older stuff and some newer stuff, but have skipped quite a few albums) But the others, fire away, tell me which bands have killer material that I'll froth and how stppid I've been to skip them. • I like the album art. I love when contemporary Glam Metal bands have album art with a genuine 80s vibe to it.
    • Nope, for a while, I used to think Rapunzel from Tangled (2010) was hot... But then I stopped being attracted to cartoon characters.
    • This is definitely the first time I've heard about it, I'll have to give it a listen!
