blindjester
Anybody heard anything about Firehouse lately?
Geoff
Good question. What the hell happened to these guys??
Nick C
Yeah what DID happen to them? Actually I noticed that Wotty was listening to them a few weeks ago, they probably heard about it and realised the pinnacle of their career had finally been reached and there was no point continuing! eaglesfan3000
I don't listen to them much any more...they were a good band though.
JC_AOR
I wasn't ever a big fan of their later albums, in fact I only really got into the first two. But still i'd be interested to hear a new one from them.
melodicrockoz
I'd love to see a new studio album from these guys this year, it's been way too long since they released one.

shamus
Their debut was unbelievable. The following two had a dozen decent tracks between them. I really liked Category 5 as well but they lost me after o2 which had only one song I could get into. Truthfully I couldn't even tell you how many albums they've put out since. Still consider myself a huge fan and wouldn't hesitate a second to buy a new album from them. And if you get a chance to see them live definitely do so. heaven&hell
I have a thread somewhere around here from 2005(I think) where I met them after a show and they said they were working on a new disc but not sure what's happened since. It would be nice to see Frontiers sign them and maybe force them to go back to their roots but that probably wouldn't happen. I know Bill has released two solo albums including a covers disc last year of old school blues songs.
Jeff
Firehouse tour dates. Wasn't Diamond Jo's Casino where Rock Gone Wild was supposed to take place last year? Well, they get around still. I saw them in 2008 at a small town fair in Wisconsin. They still put a lot of energy into the show. 2010-02-13 Burgettstown, PA Pepsi-Cola Roadhouse 565 Route 18 / Tel: 724-947-1900 2010-02-19 Clive, IA *7 flags Event Center* 2100 NW 100th St. / Tel: 515-278-8888 2010-02-20 Dubuque, IA *Diamond JO'S Casino* With Dokken 2010-02-26 DePere, WI *The Grand* With Dokken / 1250 Mid Valley Dr. / Tel: 920-330-9901 2010-03-13 South Barrington, IL *Penny Road Pub* 545 Penny Road / Tel: 847-428-0562 2010-03-19 Lekneshallen, Norway *or Lofothallen* Leknes hook 7, 8370 Long Beach Leknes, Lofoten, Norway 8370 2010-03-20 Osolo, Norway *Rock The Boat* Stena Line Oslo, Norway 2010-03-27 Thessaloniki, Greece *Block 33* Tel: 0030-2310-533533 2010-03-28 Athens, Greece *GAGARIN 205* Tel: 0030-210-8547600 / 0030-210-8547601 / 0300-210-8547602 2010-04-08 Colorado Springs, CO *Gasoline Alley* 28 N. Yes that's the same place they had tried to move it to at the last minute. The promoters for that show supposedly are involved in the newly announced midwest rock fest(I think that's the name) in Whichita, Kansas. I how in the world these guys could get any bands to show up considering a lot of bands probably lost some coin and wouldn't trust that the gig would actually take place. Geoff
Doods, make sure you hear the 'Do what you believe' song off the new Liberty & Justice CD - featuring CJ Snare and Bill Leverty. Pure Firehouse awesome, classic ballad.
Jeff
Hmmm, I am not a huge ballad guy, and Firehouse's ballads were always a little too mushy for me, but I'll check it out!

According to a story over at Blabbermouth a few days back there's quite a few announced big bands already. It didn't mention the connection in the story but in one of the posts in the forum.
