That doesn't sound right......in the past labels like that have only booted old out of print stuff......there's no way cd-rs can compete with silver pressed CDs so it doesn't make sense....

Not trying to stir up more Retrospect Records controversy here (though I suspect that's a little unavoidable), but as most of you know, I wrote the biography for the Eonian-released Shake City CD, and during the course of my e-conversations with the band members, it was made pretty clear that the EP released by Retrospect was unauthorized. Take that for what it's worth.

It is almost 2010 - no boots in the Retrospect camp. (You don't do a couple of big festivals and ask bands to come and play them when you're booting their stuff do you?)

 

And NO , Time Warp and all those other offshoot labels are NOT of my design....

Now the good news.... 2 big press releases coming shortly , including new releases and new signings (we've got a release schedule at least an arms-length long)...

Just my own guidelines for stuff I sell, but I think selling bootlegs is as bad as the bootleggers themselves. There is no destinction there whatsoever.
