Just wondering if there are any surprises on the bands performing at Rocklahoma this year. Which bands would you like to see on the Rocklahoma list? Which bands do you feel don't belong and would have no interest in seeing. Any general thoughts?

WTF? Where's Motley Crue, Poison and Dokken.....Just kiddin', I personally would absolutely love to attend, and really like at least 8-10 of those bands- highlighted by Icon and Hericane Alice, heck I'd pay $ just to see those two. Would be GR8 to hear the rest as well. Maybe I'll have to visit my family in southeast KS this summer and road trip over there.....Jeff.

Those are the ones I'd want to see too.

 

But is it me or are there less bigger bands this year and much more lesser known bands?

I was totally caught off guard by finding out Firstryke is playing Rocklahoma. I would have never guessed it. There are a couple other bands from Tulsa that I know would have been more likely to play.

 

There are so many great suprises. I would go just to see bands like Hericane Alice, Baton Rouge, and Lickity Split.

just based on what I know, the two bands I've left on Sam's list dont belong there.

Aren't those some kind of speed trash bands???

What happened to Lizzy Borden? Sam had two polls on myspace. The first was which you would rather see between Lizzy, and I think it was like Rough Cutt or something. Most everyone said they would rather see Lizzy play. So like the next day Sam says who would you rather see between Lizzy, and Jeff Scott Soto. Again more people said they would rather see Lizzy. Sam never said anything else about it. Anyone know whats up?

Yes two of the greatest Thrash Bands of all time but yeah their a little out of place compared to most of the others in the lineup but Queensryche and Armored Saint were a little out of place last year too but their both great bands. Plus good music is good music so hopefully those bands have some fans there too.

Ive never heard of any of them either except hallucination (unless its a different band with the same name.. and Vanity XO... Theyre reallly good !!!
