This one is due for release tomorrow, 17th of April:

Ashes To Ashes

Love & Pain

Let Me Lie My Life To You

The Illusion Of Reality

Why

The Journey

Regressive Evolution

Anybody Out There

Right Between The Eyes

Dirty Money

Insanity

Hopeless

Honestly, I was pretty unimpressed with the first couple of spins. Again, they've opted to try nothing new and it's just kind of average to me. 'Hopeless' was the album's best track, but the rest is just... well, exactly what you'd expect from Shakra. Not as good as the last disc, imo.

Never really liked the band at all...a poor man's Gotthard I think.

A very, very poor man's Gotthard. They should have quit after 'Power Ride'.

Dug the first three albums...especially the debut and 'Power Ride'.

Yeah.... me too. They seem to get worse with each album for some reason.

Ok im a big fan of this band. Got all their stuff. Im just really hoping though this isnt Infected II (which it sounds from what people are saying, it is). They REALLY need to mix it up a bit. I actually really like Fall, as they tried something different.

Don't like the debut much, but the next two are great. 'Power ride' is still their best, by far, imo.

Had no idea they were releasing a new CD. Still trying to decide if I care or not. There was a time I would have jumped on this like a nymphomaniacal nun jumping on the nearest stiff dick, but the band just seems stuck in a rut. Sticking to your guns musically is one thing...going stale is another. Still, not a bad band by any stretch of the imagination, even if they're starting to make the same album over and over again...

I still think the original singer is a million times better than Fox.

Im with ya...What ever happened to Wiedmer ?

I can still barely notice the difference... even if I agree with you guys that the first dude was better. Slightly. :)

Pete Wiedmer left after Power Ride for health-related reasons.

Found this from Mark Fox:

After ‘Power Ride', the third album, Pete developed epilepsy, so every time he had an epileptic fit he forgot all the lyrics. It was a really horrible time for him. When I heard that, I was kind of thinking "What was he doing" but I have a lot of respect for him for trying to keep going. So the band decided the best way forward was to find a new vocalist, because if you have ambition and are busy a lot of the time you don't have much time to slow down and concentrate on such a major health issue. I can only imagine it must have been a very anxious time for him, because of the worry of having a fit on stage, and the pressure of the worrying could only add to the problem.

    • Hope Butch and band could change their mind and release it on CD, as it's on vinyl at the moment. Or might have drag out my old gramophone to listen to it.
    • Posted about them before, but seems minimal interest in them here. Were supposed to your Australia with the treatment but recently cancelled 😮‍💨 For me Fat Bottomed Girls Trump's the original. CD is pretty good.
    • Another 2025 release? seems like a date mistake until you notice that they quote Feb 2025 twice in the write up(beginning & end)... the music itself doesn't sound too bad at all.
    • Yep. Always good when Butch is back. Solo or M3 😀
    • April 28. 2025?  Well, at least they have time to get it right.

Fire In The Rodeo   Fire In The Rodeo is: Aviroop Basu (Demonskreamer): Vocals Suvojeet Das (FlamexXx): Guitars Shambo Roychoudhury (PoisonX): Guitars Dhritiman Som (Weirdodo): Drums Nilavro Ghosh (Rony): Bass   Hailing from the culturally rich city of Kolkata, India, Fire In The Rodeo stands as a beacon of contemporary Heavy Rock, Glam Metal, and Melodic Rock fusion. Established in 2022 by the visionary frontman Aviroop Basu, the band's inception signaled the emergence of a musical force destined to captivate audiences worldwide. In December 2022, Fire In The Rodeo unveiled their maiden opus, the demo single "Back for More." This inaugural offering showcased their mastery over their chosen genres and provided a tantalizing glimpse into their musical prowess. Building upon the fervor ignited by their debut, the band resounded once again in July 2023 with their second single, "Ready To Fight." With this release, they cemented their status as a rising musical powerhouse, earning fervent accolades from aficionados and critics alike.   Fire In The Rodeo's artistic genesis draws inspiration from the illustrious lineage of Kix, Scorpions, Whitesnake, Def Leppard, Bon Jovi, Ratt, Motley Crue, among other luminaries. Such influences seamlessly intertwine within their compositions, resulting in a harmonious synthesis of sonic excellence. A defining hallmark of their artistry lies in their reverence for the 80s era of rock 'n' roll—a golden age that continues to resonate deeply within their musical ethos. By infusing modern nuances into this revered soundscape, Fire In The Rodeo conjures a distinctive auditory experience that marries the classic with the contemporary.   Their sonic tapestry is woven with roaring anthemic guitars, percussive rhythms that reverberate through the soul, and guitar riffs that scorch with undeniable intensity. Aviroop Basu's vocals ascend to extraordinary heights, delivering a high-octane performance that transcends musical boundaries. The band's chorus lines, irresistibly catchy and persistently memorable, have an uncanny ability to embed themselves within the listener's consciousness—a testament to the compositional brilliance they wield.   Amidst their meteoric ascent, Fire In The Rodeo solidified their trajectory by signing a landmark worldwide deal with the esteemed record label Lions Pride Music in 2023. This milestone paves the way for the much-anticipated release of their debut album in February 2025—an event that promises to redefine the contemporary rock landscape. As the journey of Fire In The Rodeo unfolds, their music serves as a tribute to an era bygone, a testament to the evolution of sound, and a testimony to the enduring allure of rock 'n' roll.
