    No More Crue?

My girlfriend also has AS. It's nasty. Really incredible he's been able to go on so long.
  2. Giving Scorpion Child another go. Maybe let this one go too quickly. Seems a good album.

    No More Crue?

A legal document to say we'll never tour again. How rock and roll.
  4. If I try and get through that lot I'll never hear anything released this year.
  5. Takes all sorts. Big Mouth and Shout it Out are my favorites. Can we all agree Exquisite Tenderness is unnecessary?
  6. Give it a chance. There are some good tracks on there. You might want to stop just before the last track though.
  7. When you say trying too hard you mean trying too hard to sound like Ozzy? Just listening to it for the first time now and that's all I can think of. This is a guy trying to sound like Ozzy.
  8. Loved their first album and spent yesterday listening to this one. Really enjoying this one too. Love Mikael Erlandsson's voice. Not yet sure if it's up there with the first album. Will need another 10 o 20 listens. But given I already want to listen to it another 10 or 20 times the signs are good.
  9. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-25863200 Is there hope for the young pup yet? Perhaps next up it'll be Mötley Crüe covers?
  10. Just got this from the LAST VEGAS facebook feed. Come With Me is still a FREE download here http://on.fb.me/1jdB1Eq for a few more days, so share with you friends to like the TLV page and get some Rock! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=skYsMgl8Qno New album 'Sweet Salvation' due in the spring.
  11. Kip Winger said at the show last night Winger have a new album out in April.
  12. Well that was a ton of fun. When the doors open they call you in in blocks. Everybody just stands around and waits for their block of numbers to be called. All very civilised. But not knowing a word of Japanese very confusing. Thankfully found somebody to explain it. The venue was standing but with crush barriers every 10 meters for so meters. So no crushing. Many could learn from this. Winger were on first. Kip Winger's aged somewhat. But haven't we all? Voice still great though. Reb Beach really is the bomb. He makes playing the guitar look so easy. .They played the whole of their first album , plus a couple of other tracks. Then Y&T. Worked out I was 4 when they started, which made me feel somewhat old as it was their 40th anniversary tour. Great great show as well.Dave Meniketti's voice was spot on and they played all the old favorites. Overall a real little adventure getting there and back. Needed the help of locals a few times but the Japanese are the friendliest most helpful people on the planet. Great show. Really happy I did this. Next up Heaven's Basement back in Munich. And just seen Halestorm are coming. Need to see them.
  13. Ticket sorted. Train sorted. Today is the big day. I'm very very excited.
  14. Romeo's daughter promising a new album this year. http://romeosdaughter.co.uk/
  15. Crazy , crazy , crazy nights. Doors open at 4. First act on at 5! Winger playing a 25th anniversary set with the original lineup playing the first album in it's entirety. This I have to do!
  16. Anybody been to a show in Japan? Flying out on the 1st and I see Winger and Y&T are playing in Osaka when I'm there. Never seen either and always wanted to so seems like an opportunity too good to miss. The doors seem to open very early. Like 5.30 with what looks like a 6.30 start. Does this sound right? If so what time do the shows usually end. I need to get back to Okayama.
  17. Still my favorite band and I'd love to see both forms. Always thought Tracii Guns never for the credit he deserves. The Lewis Guns is still very much one of the bands I most want to see. They played in a really small club near Munich last year but I was out of the country. One day, maybe.
  18. Got tickets to see them in the spring. Really happy.
  19. I'm confused what Modern means as well then. Why would Heaven's Basement be 'modern'? The kids described it as old Daddy music so young people see it as old! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zgz_vmwEp_0
  20. Dregen Walking Papers* Heaven's Basement Mike Monroe - Horns and Halos Brand New Machine - Devil made me do it. The Winery Dogs Tom Keifer- The way life goes. Def Leppard - Viva Hysteria Newman - Siren Robin Beck - Underneath *Was released in Europe in 2013, think originally 2012 in US. Does it count? Seems almost everything I've been listening to this year was released in 2012 or earlier. I really must catch up.
  21. Anybody else into Dregen? For me the best album I've heard in a long time. Been playing it solidly for the last couple of months and was lucky enough to see him play in Munich last week.
  22. Just logged in and it seems it's 5 years since I last posted! Lots happened since then , the whole music world been turned upside down by the likes of Spotify which has rekindled my interest in music. Finally listening a lot, started going to shows and remembered how important music is. There seem to be a lot of good new acts around. Brand New Machine, The Scams, Eclipse, Heaven's Basement, Million Dollar Reload and my absolute favourite Dregen.
  23. If I remember right it was something else making the lead singer high.
  24. I've really enjoyed these. I'd go as far as saying more enjoyable than the Tora Tora doing the rounds now. As I said at first listen. Stong Medication is a great song. Love it.
  25. Just got them and listening. They play in quicktime. Track 1 rocks. Me likey. I'll come back with futher comment...
