LV KIX

Looking forward to catching the first Santa Cruz show in The States. Anyone else going to the show on Dec. 12, 2014 in New York City. Opening bands are Station, Nasty Habit, Wicked, and Cyanide Saints. This was a road trip "no-brainer". No way I'll miss this one.

Mark Boals is currently playing shows with his band Soul Sign. I'm going to be seeing them soon.

I'm going to try and make November concert free... But in December I have KIX lined up for 2 show in Maryland and SANTA CRUZ with Station, Nasty Habit, and Wicked in New York City.

I'm a bit late to this party... Has anyone mentioned Roxx Gang yet...?

Been following this band for awhile now... cool image... not so cool music.

This past weekend was... STATION, STREETLIGHT CIRCUS, SAINTS OF REBELLION, KICKIN' VALENTINA, LYNAM, SLAUGHTER, TRIXTER, L.A. GUNS, and KIX. MOre good ones on the way...

Ohhh.. Look who is back. I had wondered what happened to you. Still playing the KIX release at least every other day.

The "Rock Your Face Off" release entered the Billboard Top 200 charts at #49. Not bad for 2014....

Just a bit of an update... Diemonds is working on a new release that hopefully will be out before year's end. Diemonds was just added to The 2014 KISS Kruise this Halloween. Great to see this band is still going strong and continues to grow in popularity.

It has taken nearly 20 years... But today, KIX officially released their new CD.. "Rock Your Face Off". I think most people who like the previous KIX releases will find that this fits in quite nicely with the rest. In my opinion this who CD has the signature KIX sound all over it... I love it. Anyone else pick this one up..? Any opinions on the release..?

I met the vocalist, Bret, about 6 years ago at a KIX show in Virginia. At the time he had just started a band called Ner D'wells (SP?).. Cool to see him doing so well. In fact, I just talked to him in late April... He came to my annual "M-Pre Party" show I do prior to The M3 Festival in Maryland. Pretty cool stuff.

Been following these guys for a while.. promising. I like what I have heard so far.

The best UKJ releases are the ones Shannon played on too.

If you are talking about "Just Getting Started" I couldn't agree with you more. I have 2 copies of that one... One stays in my car all the time. It's a great driving CD.

I actually didn't really start listening to them until Shannon started playing drummer for them. By far one of the best live drummers around. I used to love seeing him all the time with Wrathchild (America).. There is talk of a Wrathchild reunion but one member is holding it up.. and it isn't Shannon.

Didn't think much of them myself when I saw them with CrashDiet. I also was never able to get into their prior releases. Just not for me.

Actually Sin 4 Sin does have a third release (ACTUALLY THE 2ND RELEASE)... In 2011 they put out a really cool 3 song release.. I would imagine that is is fairly hard to find. "ARREST ME" (Released in 2011) 1.) Take It Off 2.) I Quit Drinking (Again) 3.) My Girlfriend Always Gets Me Arrested ================================================================= It has been a few months since I have talked to Brandon.. But I believe they are in the middle of another member change or two...

Mach22 features the son of a Cinderella member... I'll let you all find out who on your own. Seen this band many times.. Not a huge fan.

I never really have a problem with Baltimore's picks. I think they had a solid draft overall.

I suppose I am the only one from HH going... ? Except Sam, of course. What about Jacob... is he still around these parts...? The Retrospect Stage is reason enough to go to Rocklahoma each year.. As an added bonus this year we have KIX, Twisted Sister, Skid Row, Jackyl, and T. Keifer.

I still may get to this one.. Bad timing as I'll be at Rocklahoma until Monday of that week. If I do make, I'll be headed there straight from Rocklahoma.

Nasty Habit also played at my "M-Pre Party" show a couple weeks ago. The new CD was available for the first time on that night. Only a 5 song release but one that most of you will want to have in the collection.

All of the new songs are top-notch.. as is their everything they have previously done. This band killed it a my "M-Pre Party" a couple weeks ago.. crowd favorite for sure.

I could be wrong but I believe "Spectres" was the name Poison went by before they moved from Pennsylvania to L.A. Dude in upper right pic looks like Rikki Rockett to me, dude in lower left looks like Bret. Used to see Bret in his band Paris before moving to L.A... Bret would always come down to see KIX at Hammerjacks in Baltimore.
